Makes no difference as you still have the same amount of time on your pass where the parks are closed. Its an annual pass. Besides, you have 6 months to collect your pass from date of purchase.

If going for an Individual Premium Pass, Costco has them on the same 15 months offer, for only £168.99 and as a bonus they'll post you two free park-entry tickets for family / friends to use!

It's not clear if you need to be a member to purchase. Code is emailed to you on purchase to redeem on the Merlin site, and free tickets are posted separately!

We normally do the same but collect in June/July that way you get the tickets for 2 seasons and can then have a year off. I like merlin passes but it is good to have a break.

If you collected it now then you'd get two lots of the closed period...... As your stress free 3 months would be Nov, Dec & Jan.
Collect in April and I assume your additional 3 months would be may, June and July?
3+12 months promotion is for new customers. Renewals are £10 less but no additional 3 months.
We seem to have already missed these dates, bar December, when it expires😄

True, however Decembers sale doesn't usually give 3 months free. so a 12 month pass will still be closed for the same period. That was the point I rather badly was trying to get across

You used to be able to... There seems to be two different answers.. The first being on the link shown on this page which states " All passes are posted directly to the passholder and cannot be collected at an attraction, for more information visit the FAQs"...

And the second being here stating that you have 6 months to collect support.merlinannualpass.co.uk/hc/…ed-

Thanks Merlin...

The Q&A's state another
Can I collect my Merlin Annual Pass/es at an attraction?
If you have chosen the "Print and Post" option when purchasing your Merlin Annual Passes, the option to collect will not be available. This is because your Passes will either be in production or will be on their way to you!

Probably a better chance of getting through to Joris Bhonson than Merlin.

Cant, still have 4 months in current membership.
Am I understanding their ticket policy correctly that all children from 0 upwards need a ticket? Seems a little off that I would need to purchase a ticket for a baby!

If your child is 3 years or over at the time of purchasing your Passes OR will turn 3 during the life of your Passes we recommend you purchase a Pass for them, this is because children aged 3 or over are required to pay admission when entering all attractions.*

*Please note: Children will require toddler tickets from the age of 1 at The Blackpool Tower Circus.
I don't get this. If you buy the pass now it says you're getting 15 months, but what use is the extra 3 months as it's over the period that it's closed anyways right?

Warwick castle, sea life, Legoland discovery, Chessington Zoo, London eye, Tussauds, Blacpool tower, Shrek's adventure, dungeons & Jurrasic skyline are all open. Out of the 32 attractions, 3 are closed (plus Chessington rides).

Buy a discount code from eBay to get an extra 20% off.
The seller sends you a link to buy via corporate. All genuine. I bought using it. Passes arrived within 3 days.

Can the discount code can be add for this 15 months promotion?
Isn't monthly option much better!?!

I only bought couple of months ago for the family. Paying on a monthly basis work out affordable and you don't need to pay activation or renewal next year!

I like this idea. But can't find a seller.
Don't forget to add 6% Quidco on premium passes and 5% on standard. Saves a few quid if there's a few of you.
On the family pass do your all need to go together? Or can we buy three adult passes as a family and turn up separate?

Ah OK. Guess it isn't cheaper to add a child then for three adults!

Sorry, its max 3 adults (12 and over), so a 4th would have to be under 12.

No, you pay a premium.
You can get the discount on TOTUM if you have a student account or know one.

At full price, monthly actually woks out cheaper, so no, there is not a premium. Its just currently on sale, plus 3 month free so this is a better deal.

When we bought ours in the summer there was no longer the facility to collect at an attraction. The website is misleading/out of date - the ordering system only allowed postage and they start from the date of processing.
This actually looks like a good deal. I am in London and pay £180 for a ZSL Zoo membership (1 adult + 4 kids). I currently go to the zoo on average once per month.

Does anyone know if there are enough Central London attractions that make this deal worthwhile for almost 4 and almost 7 year old boys? Are there enough attractions on the tube network that make the Merlin pass better than a zoo membership?

Ignore my comments - just seen that this is a per person fee not a family membership fee. In that case I will stick with my zoo membership

London Eye, Shrek's adventure, sealife centre, dungeons, madam Tussards & slightly further out Chessington WOA, Thorpe part & Legoland.

At full price for one ticket, yes it is the same. But many people buy for family (3+ people) and unfortunately monthly does not attract the discount price. A shame - I suppose many people would otherwise just buy for the summer months .

They sold us Lego passes on the basis that you get discount on food and merchandise, for a couple of days we were getting the discounts that they had told us about but on a Saturday visit we didn't get the discounts when we enquired we were told that we had been misinformed and the discounts only applied to the Merlin pass now, they should be keeping staff and the website up to date when it comes to deals discounts etc.
