Makes no difference as you still have the same amount of time on your pass where the parks are closed. Its an annual pass. Besides, you have 6 months to collect your pass from date of purchase.

We normally do the same but collect in June/July that way you get the tickets for 2 seasons and can then have a year off. I like merlin passes but it is good to have a break.
If going for an Individual Premium Pass, Costco has them on the same 15 months offer, for only £168.99 and as a bonus they'll post you two free park-entry tickets for family / friends to use!

It's not clear if you need to be a member to purchase. Code is emailed to you on purchase to redeem on the Merlin site, and free tickets are posted separately!

We were effectively forced to move up to Merlin Premium this summer as the Lego Premium had Fri/Sat/Sun access removed during the summer without paying a £10 per person per day supplement, plus paying for parking if I recall, so they have effectively killed it from our perspective.
I have just looked and the Merlin Annual passes are not currently showing on the Legoland or Alton Towers booking site accessible through Totum (student discount).

Again we were told we could use the passes any day as they're were Lego premium passes so next year effectively in the summer we will have to fork out even more money at the weekends, do you ever feel you are being totally conned by this mob, bad enough with the extortionate food prices etc but to then be missold passes and for them to just wash their hands of you when you try and complain, next year will be our last year visiting for sure, total rip off.

I thought the same!!! I bet they purposely designed it that way

Coffee hasn't kicked in yet
This is fantastic value. Just wish more investment was being pumped into UK themeparks to combat declining attendance, and to create better attractions. Hopefully with Lego's aquisition of Merlin earlier in the year, we'll be seeing more updates to Alton towers and Thorpe Park.

Then did this happen? I was under the impression Lego still owned 30%.

Alton towers will be closed but sea life etc open all year around.
if you just want alton towers then just buy alton towers pass for 50 ish.

Blackstone is the family firm/investment arm that owns Lego (Blackstone is run by the Lego founders).

Nothing showing for Merlin on TOTUM?

Nothing showing for Merlin on TOTUM?

Merlin passes were available from Legoland and Alton Towers on Totum (they are Merlin Attractions), as I bought from there in the summer, but it seems the annual passes haren't currently available this route, as I mentioned earlier.
Does the premium still include parking?
For those that bought their tickets in January this year, how much did they cost?

If only there was a website where you could type the word "merlin" and it would give you a historical idea of prices back in January....

My point exactly.

Just pointing out the obvious leads to people having to use 4 letter words. Snowflakes everywhere

Last year when this was on, I recall there was a change in process and the passes started on the day you ordered and they posted the passes out to you.

Have they reverted back to collection?

No, you are correct. The last time I got merlin passes you could collect during 6 months. Now it's as you say. It was pointed out in one of the comments to me.

Possible £10 off?

hotukdeals.com/dea…127
People forget that all though the big parks close over winter you still have plenty to do in the off season. Blackpool for instance all the sealife centres and London has plenty London eye, Shrek tours, London dungeons and Madame Tussaud’s. Great value in my mind
Misleading putting a picture of a premium pass and the standard one is £109
davefulkes15/11/2019 19:13

Misleading putting a picture of a premium pass and the standard one is £109

The word "From" is what makes this not at all misleading. When you see a car advertisement and it says "from £12,999" but they show the £22,999 car on the advert, do you email them telling them its misleading?
You should have put the picture of the standard one which is £109 then
davefulkes15/11/2019 20:28

You should post a few deals and stop complaining about everyone else's
Has anyone been able to confirm if the passes can be collected at a later date from a venue?
