Not that much of a deal now ??

Still 2 months to get some use out of it. It wil pay for itself if you only go to Sealife and Alton Towers once each.

do they run anything like this in the south?

Would have been hotter posted on the 17th of July.........

You think? :whistling:

As for the South, no. Scarborough Sealife does do some great promotions on Merlin tickets from time to time. The best for the South would be a Merlin Annual pass which includes London attractions such as Thorpe Park, Chessington, Legoland, London Eye, Tussauds and London Sealife.
I think the reason they have brought this out is to attract people who might not visit the London atttractions but would be interested in the ones in the North.

:):)

For those who shop at tesco, you can get the Merlin annual pass using clubcard deals.

Its better value than this as you get 6x the validity (this only has 2 months left) for £37.50 in vouchers.

You also get discounts on food and purchases when in the park (20% i *think*)

Best thing about these passes is having the option to spontaneously have a fun day out, at no further expense other than the travel.

Yes you do get 20% off Food and drink purchases with the Annual pass. I'll call Birminham sealife tomorrow to see if the same applys to the summer pass.
I'm not disputing the Clubcard deal is a better value overall, I use it myself to get my passes. If you don't think you'll use it that much over the 12 months then it's probably not worth wasting that many clubcard points.
If you were planing just 2 days and Alton Towers and the initial trip to Sealife to pick the pass up for example, this is ideal.

Im not trying to knock your deal, just giving another option.

Also, you should remember than this summer pass is for the worst time you could possibly go - when parks are PACKED with kids.

Personally, I will NEVER again go to a theme park at the weekend or during summer hols. As much fun as the rides are, queueing for 1-2hrs each time just isnt worth it, and quite franky ruins the day.

sealife blackpool we saw a few month ago and we were the only one in there. this is the most boring one we've been to and it took us half an hour to go through. the birmingham one was very good though.

Just bought this yesterday - collected from Sealife Birmingham. (ok for a couple of hours but wouldn't go for the day). Going to Alton Towers today, Warwick Castle later this week, and it's paid for itself!! It's a great idea for those of us who wouldn't normally buy due to not being able to get use of attractions further south. Kids are chuffed that we can keep going back to Alton Towers without mum and dad moaning about the cost!! Free parking to Alton Towers and Warwick Castle too!!

..but not as good as the London sealife, and the london sealife is not as good as seaworld in florida.

Note the london eye is missing from list compared to the annual pass.
