Yes, EHCP is not required. Just need a letter with his name, dob and condition.
This is amazing thankyou
Yes anyone that has a special needs child can apply! It takes 5 mins to apply and so easy! I applied for my son who is on the spectrum and for confirmation of approval 2 weeks later. Definitely worth a try!
Can I apply both my kids have been diagnosed with Dyslexic and I am a single parent and my kids found it hard
Went last year paid for the whole family to go to lego land 👪 :)
It's perhaps not such a great deal as you pay the On The Day price and that could be £16.50 instead of the online price of £9.90. If it's 2for1, that's £16.50 instead of £19.80 so a saving of £3.30 or £1.65 each. Buy 1 Get 1 half price might only save 70p. You have to queue up and faff about to make that minimal saving.
Hi I've already booked my tickets would I be to get some money back if I took this or not
Has anyone used this at Alton towers? Do you get given the season pass as if you had paid full price?
Does this also give 2 for 1 entry to the waterpark at alton towers? Thank you in anticipation.
Oh nice! That’s cool :) You should post it! (unicorn)
I applied in September it was not straight forward. They was so fussy saying oh we need more proof, despite my child being autistic and having a eating disorder, I didn’t bother.
Hopefully doing it next year
I got 4 Legoland Florida tickets.
If you missed this offer buy a gift currently have 25% off which includes the Bear Grylls experience vouchers CRMBFLCXL1CMD https://www.buyagift.co.uk/adventure/bear-grylls-adventure
Many of the activities look suitable for 15 year olds I guess it depends on how adventurous your child is. ;)
Which one of these includes how to put make up on to look dirty and checking in to 5* hotels by yourself? My spoiled child is turning 15 soon so need to stop him 'running wild' and ready him for the real world according to bear. Thanks
Try changing or amending it online.... If possible
I doubt theres any chance of a refund. Booked car parking at 170 marylborne rd secure parking. Will just have to shoot through and at the end of it get an uber from sealife to the car park
Actually you need to book the attractions at least a day before. So you can book madam Tussauds for xyz date, just take the print of the barcode or appointment or you can save screenshot on your mobile to avoid printing out copies ... So each attraction you have to book before you visit either it's madam Tussauds or London eye or dungeon or Shrek world or sealife.... Each has to be booked individually before visiting.... (y)
Sorry for sounding a bit daft... So if I purchased a ticket for Madame Tussauds (as first event) and London Eye (as whenever), do I need to do anything after that except for show up at the place? Do I need to call up or go to an office or something to book the timing for London Eye?
That's way too much visits in one day... *London Dungeon, sea life, Shrek world, and London eye is very close to each other... # Madam Tussauds are far away from all of above attractions.... So I would suggest to visit all of these **** attractions together And then just visit madam Tussauds which is located on Baker Street on another day....also for this attraction you don't need car as it's just located outside Baker Street. (shock) (y)
;( Hugely disappointed - the website wouldn't take out application for the london eye = there was 'trouble with their magic wand' and now it has expired!
https://www.familyfund.org.uk/ . If you are on benefits and you care for a disabled child you can apply for a grant for a holiday m
This is amazing
When I went for support I was told as I can use a microwave, wash myself, order take away or groceries online and can talk to someone even though Im in severe anxiety and stutter when doing so I am seen as "coping" The main problem with that sort of interpretation is I can come across as well spoken and polite and smile when I speak but pay attention for more than a few seconds and they would see my speech degenerate into incomprehensionable slurring me shake violently me freak out and I am close to mental health wise either causing myself serious harm or others, to put it a certain way I had a operation 3 years ago and I blocked out my emotions so much I didnt feel any pain from the operation and the doctors and nurses were shocked as even bodybuilders and such felt pain from the operation I just muted it out, when I smashed my arm badly last year and that needed an operation I felt zero pain even when my hand puffed up like a balloon and again the doctors and nurses were shocked telling me even the toughest person is in severe pain from the injury and operation. Short answer because I smile and am polite its seen as coping doesn't matter I feel like punching walls or smashing my own furniture due to the bottled up feelings that are in past year seeping out. Meanwhile someone whos autism shows who has a much better life relatively speaking i.e came from a much better off financially background, had support from a early age, high benefits and copes better at life than me is seen as more in need of support. Its a mad way of looking at it, IMO support is a fantastic thing but done wrongly then if that support was ripped away from those who currently get it they would do as badly in life as me, worse in some ways as they haven't learned coping mechanisms.
We're sorry...Applications are currently unavailable. Please check back soon. Thanks very much, The Merlin's Magic Wand Team Hotukdeals strikes again? Saw this yesterday thought will apply for my young brother tommorow :o
Nnj10 could you share discount code please?
Just changed again do it every year, cheapest one in our region, saved £600 + over the the big 6 including BG it’s really not worth staying with the big six just use MSE refresh it every so often and see who is the cheapest they give cash back on many deals and you can also use their results to get cash back from sites like quidco if you he cheapest is on it. And I could have saved more but want the flexibility of no exit fees. We are with Breeze now, Bristol Energy before that, Co-op before that. And you do know they are one of the expensive companies for that as well :(
which is what i have !
They don't just do energy, lots of people have boiler breakdown cover with them.
Most of the deals posted up for everyone to see on hotukdeals are originally found from websites on the internet.
lol why does that matter? A deal is a deal regardless of where it comes from
No - these 2 for 1 offers are sadly never valid for the Waterpark :(
Anu one knows if I can use this at Alton Towers Waterpark?
Copypasta straight off MSE
That sounds like a typical Pleasure Beach skank. Still as none of the attractions are anywhere near there, makes no odds in this case. Parking at the very end of the spine road (Yeadon Way, near Coral Island, FY1 5BD) is a safe bet for Merlin attractions
Be wary about paying for parking in advance, I visited the pleasure beach with my family earlier this year, paid for parking at the PB in advance only to find when I turned up it was cheaper on the day (for the same car park)
well someone had to say it?
It's useful if you have an odd number in your group
Apart from the ice cream this doesn't seem much different to the ever present bogof vouchers or just buying at least a day in advance from the attraction sites.
apolgies, but in this case if voucher is used already, if you register to receive updates from Merlin, you should be able to receive new code
You are only eligible to redeem this offer if it has been emailed directly to you by Merlin Entertainments. Each email contains a unique code which will allow you to purchase the discounted tickets via the Merlin's Magic Circle website. This code can only be used one time, and can only be used on one of the featured attraction websites. Once you have purchased the promotional tickets, the code will become invalid for any subsequent purchases. (_;)
Many apologies, the promotion code 5P5BZMZV has already been used. (MAX) To purchase your 50% off + Free Ice Cream ticket, enter the unique code from your ‘A Big Summer Thank You’ email into the box below. Your ticket will also contain your free ice cream voucher – please ensure you print this and take it to the attraction on the day of your visit.
Sorry I am not sure about this, but it must still apply, there may be a be a way online of ordering a carer ticket, the only prob I see is proving you are a carer with an online purchase, our ticket was purchased at the information centre which is on the seafront opposite Harry Ramsdens fish n chip shop it was £40
Hi, does this apply if you book the big ticket online? My son has autism and I'm his carer was looking at the big ticket online, it says you save 52% online :/ x
Yes I do find a majority of places keep it quiet. It wasn't until I asked once and got a full free ticket for me, as a career, to an event that I realised I should always ask. You can always call up and ask too.
good to hear, but not all places offer the info up front, last year got our tickets from the tower and they could see one of our party was in a chair but they did not tell us about the discount, we need to take you with us as I am to shy to ask
Interesting, thanks - am over in May too...
So how does the deal work....?
Went once, it was packed out, and it was rubbish. I still get people posting photos of the waxworks on Facebook, which seems to be an utterly pointless exercise.
Madame Tussauds is probably the most overrated and overpriced attraction in London. Avoid it at all costs. There is plenty of much more interesting things to do in London than wasting your money on this..
That's nice for you but this isn't a deal is it?
Can this not be unexpired, as it's still valid?
Thanks. It is definitely the easiest way to get half price entry.
Not sure why this is expired as this promotion runs for the whole of the 2014 season and can't find that it's a duplicate. Also I agree with the OP this is the easiest 50% deal out there, and should be not be cold.
Here us the link for full t&c http://merlinentertainments.biz/en/kitkat.aspx
Sorry I couldn't find the link to the terms and conditions, but looking on the back of the packet it looks identcal to the Kit Kat offer conditions hence the link to those. Deal found in my local Sainsburys.
Anyone know if these are still stocked anywhere?
Why expired ?. Picked-up one from Tesco Canary Wharf on Friday.
YES THESE 50% OFF ENTRANCE CHARGES, CERTAINLY WORKED FOR US I HAD A PAY FOR THE CHILD GET THE ADULT FREE TICKET. MY SISTER HAD ONE ADULT TWO KIDS. SO THIS 50% OFF CERTAINLY WORKED FOR HER. WE WENT TO CHESSINGTON ADVENTURE PARK AND LEGOLAND :) BARGAIN.
Loads in stock in Tesco's Aylesbury. Mint and Dark choc versions also have them (8 x 2 finger packs). 3 of us visiting Blackpool next week so great for odd numbers. Thanks to OP :)
brilliant! thanks for posting
does not seem such a great deal compared to their Jan sale previous deal
Unfortunately NO to both, but it would be a good idea with the priority queue. Last Bank Holiday, we waiting an hour for a poxy children ride in Chessington which lasted a few minutes. Premium pass doesn't have the exclusion attractions in August that standard pass do, you will need to check out the web site for more details, but I upgrade just my pass as premium because car parking is free (which cost £6 each time), and I have been twice already since April. Alton Tower Water Park is not part of the Merlin pass deal, but you do get 20% off the price.
Thanks merlin website updated
@Tyton - ARAIK neither of the passes include complimentary use of the Alton Towers Water Park, but you do get a small discount off tickets (20%) as a passholder!
does the pass include Alton Towers Water Park ? anyone anyone Bueller ;-)
thanks looking for this
Thank you! :)
£69 for me, wife and 2 kids doesnt seem too bad.
