That is a fantastic price, they are likely short-dated though, but at this price it does not matter, I wonder if the same deal applies in store as I recently was made aware some Holland & Barrett Stores remain open during the Coronavirus lockdown.. certainly worth a visit to you local Holland & Barrett is the same deals applies in-store..

I think they're actually going to stop stocking met rx. I got 2 1kg tubs for £12 very recently.
H&b is reducing sports stuff to make way for new products. So in-store you can get stuff for a £1 each.
Brilliant price the ones I bought from Home Bargains for a pound a tub are starting to run low now, great timing thanks

Met rx is going through changes to bring it back into the 21st century, probably a rebrand and a new product line which isn't outdated.

Its difficult with everything i know to post this deal but if it saves them £12, I'm okay with that.

Some people on here go mad for it so i thought I'd make their day, they don't listen if i advise them otherwise.

Science back it up, go google and see for yourself. You’ll then realise products like these are placebo effect and nothing else. BCAA’s/EAA’s work but not at the doses given in this product.
Come on people. Could have left me one. Was adding to basket when it said it’s out of stock.
What's these used for please? I do basic gym routines at home

I'm interested, what is wrong with the doses for the ingredients?

Low doses, but it is 90p.

I don't recommend bcaa's but alot of here love them.

I prefer an EAA because they work great.

Bcaas are great, but at less than 1g of anything per 6 capsules these are massively underdosed. For this price it's OK though

A full Spectrum EAA(essential amino acid) is made up of 9 ingredients, ‘BCAA’s’ being 3 of them so straight away your missing the other 6 essential amino acids.

L-Leucine you want to see around 3-5grams
L-Isoleucine around 1.5grams plus
L-Valine 1.5grams plus

You want maximum MPS, I just hate seeing poor products sold at any price on the market. In any circumstance your better going for an EAA over a BCAA where possible

Even 12 IU of Vitamin E is poor

Sorry to bore people

This one is also £1 and in stock, but don’t see dosage

hollandandbarrett.com/sho…178

EDIT: op is massively under dosed and not worth it IMO. Get a powdered form and if you haven’t used BCAs before, stay away from unflavoured unflavoured does not mean tasteless and the unflavoured taste of BCAs is rank.

I don't recommend bcaa's to anyone at all, they are rendered useless when a diet has sufficient protein.
But some on here go mad for it no matter the dose so i guess it saves them £12 over rrp.

I only recommend EAA's because they work but i wouldn't get far posting them.

If that dose is per 6 tablets then even the weakest powder form I've seen beats it by several times?

Not using bcaa's is the best option

From what I've read (far from extensive) you don't need BCAAs at all if you have a good diet, in the same way as you don't need protein shakes or any other supplement for that matter. But if relying on shakes to get your protein then you are missing out on the BCAAs you'd normally find in the food you aren't eating?

Read what I've said previously.

I really don't recommend BCAA'S at all, they are useless when a diet has sufficient amounts of protein.

Bcaa's are only 3 aminos, if you for some weird reason only got your protein from powder then you'd still be perfectly fine as long as its a complete protein source with a good amino profile of the 9 essential amino acids which all whey protein is.

I only added this post because people still get this even though they've been told otherwise, I'm happy for them to waste 90p instead for £13.

I only recommend eaa's as they work, you wouldn't build a house with only 3 of the 9 things you need would you?

I heavily disagree on your comment saying you don't need supplements. Sure you don't NEED supplements but you will do alot better with them.

Even with something as basic as creatine, you'd have to eat 1.1kg of beef every single day to get 5g a day or you just get some creapure.
