Metal 7ft x 5ft football goal. Perfect for the kids in the garden.
Reviews seem good enough, 4.1/5 average on 177 reviews. £8.99 reduced from £19.99.

Comes with goal net and pegs to peg it down.

Obviously wont take hard kicks from the men around but it wont be built for them, great for the kids to play striker/goalkeeper in the garden.

Lots of footballs on offer at Argos so perfect matching item for the kids.

Available for delivery or collection, seems to be very widely available at stores.

I had to go through a duplication post pop up thing, say that it wasn't a duplicate of a goal post set at £20 from Argos.

I'm sure your son will love it. I've just ordered another so my sons have two goals to shoot at each other and make a mini football pitch.

Had these before, bit flimsy but ideal for a few years and at that price can't go wrong - heat added

Sorry voted cold. Been down the cheap route. Horrible powder coated metal, flimsy. It's cheap...and nasty.

If you want a sturdy, strong and superbly made plastic locking goal look for Samba goals which are used by most kids footy teams. Of course it's a lot more but is made to the correct standard. I am not a brand snob but bearing in mind how spoilt kids get £80 on Samba goals is superb value for an excellent product. I belive there are other good brands out their too.

Similarly a Ferrari is much better than a focus but it's also 10 times the price!

Good find - I'm voting hot because:

1. It's a good deal
2. To wipeout the cold vote from the guy who is comparing it to an £80 product!
3. There/their annoys me also.

hot from me, ordered for collection tomorrow

You are right. Wouldn't disagree. But...if someone gave me these goals I would sell them on and put towards a much more superior product that went up easily and stayed up. Samba goals an adult can shoot full pelt and they don't break.

With your analogy a ford focus works very well and is a sound purchase. These goals in my opinion are not a sound purchase. Just something to bear in mind. Just like a lot of other tack that Argos sells, and many other stores for that matter. They shouldn't be allowed to sell such inferior products. For that reason I don't see these as a bargain or deal. But go ahead and get white powder all over your hands, nets that don't fit, spring loaded pins that break or seize, paint that peels, parts that corrode and a flimsy goal frame only suitable for very young kids.

I paid £12 few weeks ago. its a pin nail were each part goes through a pin to stick together. its a bit wobbly tho still
only ok for kids under 11.
we had ours inside but not now

I've ordered one for collection from my local store but it only reserves it for tomorrow and I can't get until Monday, does anyone know if I can reserve it for longer? If not I'll just hope no one buys it in the space between it going back up for sale and me getting there on Monday! Heat added, good price for a decent looking net, even if it does only last for a few years. It'll do for us :-)

jumpers for goalposts is all you need.... paint that peels off... who cares. GOALLLL

Yeah as soon as the time is up, like if it's being held until the end of today, (which is usually around 6 when store closes), simply go back online after 6 & re-reserve. Or just reserve it now & leave initial reservation it just be's placed back on shelf.

Great deal for tge younger ones heat added!!

Ordered nice on
