Its not a very good version.

The best version of Metal Slug 3 is on the original Xbox. (Better than even the original Neo Geo versions).

Have a look at what it is like (ignore the fact that people connect it to a widescreen so it is stretched).

The game itself is about £3. (Or was last time I looked). Xboxes are pretty cheap as well. Also loads of other similar stuff (From e.g Capcom) that is far better quality than what they did afterwards.
Works great for me, and the added netplay makes this @ £3 worth my money.
Metal Slug Anthology on the PSP was great, Metal Slug 1 / 2 / X / 3/ 4/ 5 / 6
on one UMD
Got all of them on my mame arcade machine and they rock, brilliant 2 player action.
