This is the newly released remastered 2017 version that was put out in the recent Puppets boxset. Just to be clear, this is album only, not the expanded edition with all the extra rubbish that some fans may want. I'm not generally a fan of remasters but having downloaded a couple of tracks and thinking they sounded pretty good, I figured it was worth buying at this price. May be of interest to some of you and a must for any younger metal fans yet to own a copy!

In case anyone's interested they also have last years remastered Ride... and KEA for £4.20ish each. I didn't like the remastering much on Ride though but it may interest some. Keep in mind they ship out of USA but postage is free so don't order all together as you may get hit with customs fees if you do. Links...

Bought it when it first came out, and still after 31 years this album blows me away. Awesome, classic!

Me too. Still have my original MFN release vinyl and cd copies as well as the pic disc which I have framed hanging on wall in my hallway and the double 45 gatefold re-release MFN put out a year or 2 later. Sadly though, at the age of 14, my parents didn't let me go and see them on the Puppets tour...not something I've ever quite got over given what happened to Cliff shortly after.

If only I could hang some of my covers in the hallway! Yeah would have loved to see them with Cliff, didn't get to see them until '91 at Donington!

HUKD..DO YOU FEEL YOU ALLLLUIIIIVEE??! I SAID ARE YOU ALLLLLLIIIVVVEE TONIGHTTAA

Good deal. Brings back memories of Donington 1987 (the first time I saw Metallica). Probably my favourite Metallica album.

Again my parents wouldn't let me go to Donnington that year as they didn't trust me to keep myself safe but luckily I was in the right place at the right time a few days before and got to see them play the warm up gig at the 100 Club in London. My first Metallica gig and what a gig it was!

It's new.

Great album. I still prefer "Kill 'Em All" though, just for the energy.

If someone asked which is their best record I would struggle to choose between the first 3 but I think Puppets means the most to me as it was just coming out when I first got into them. I probably listen to KEA the most these days though.

Damn ordered and the price has dropped now

Ride and KEA dropped slightly too. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over 5p though!
