The reviews I've read are good (have a look on amazon's US site) - I've gone for it. If you're still unsure let me know and I'll post my review here!

I love the S&M concert, they're probably some of my most played discs. Bought it for £35 back in my uni days, just a shame it isn't available in widescreen.

It says NTSC/Region 0, so should play on all DVD players.

is there a blu-ray of this like the French one?

Can't go wrong for £5.99. I love Metallica, they're amazing live.
Heat added.

It'd be so awesome in widescreen and blu-ray. Shame it wasn't filmed that way!

Saw them twice last year, awesome live!

Yes, but I'm not sure how easy it is to get hold of, and may be quite expensive, I haven't looked properly mind

I have the french dvd, overall it is amazing. At certain parts the camera is a bit shakey, especially when lars does the double bass pedal bits, it was a very good quality dvd though

Also i was listening online to this this concert, and i found loads of other songs that arnet on this dvd, they were good too
