Top price indeed. Have some heat.

Without doubt one of the best games this generation. Fantastic price.

never played any of them (3d versions) ... is it better to get a trilogy?

Absolutely supercool game. Although anyone with intelligence and taste for good games and a wii would already have this, or better yet have the metroid prime trilogy. Makes halo, killzone and almost every other shooter (apart from half life 2) look like a disney videogame.

Showing as £8.89 now(?)

You can buy this with Mario Strikers Charged for £20.89 (mario strikers alone is £22.89)

Now showing as £8.89 but still a decent price. Remember 2% Quidco.

Can 2 or more players play this at the same time? Or is it a single player game?

Quite a cool game. Really looks good for a Wii game, very distinctive style. Worth it at this price as I paid this second hand a couple of weeks ago. I do find the control method does my head in tho, I find I can only play it for short periods, but I guess thats because im so used to the 360 controller. hot. I don't think theres any multiplayer or split screen but I could be wrong.

Many thanks m.b, have ordered this for me son

Thanks OP. It has now gone up to £8.89, but still an absolute bargain.

Excellent review on IGN ]Metroid Prime 3 Corruption Review

I agree with the comments above, one of the best games you can get on the Wii, and no sign of Mario!! Definitely worth a shot if you've not got it already.

As for getting this on its own or as part of the trilogy, that is a tricky question. The other two are definitely just as good, and they lost nothing transferring from the Gamecube to the Wii. But I got the other two as GC games for around a fiver each, and with the trilogy still being full price it's difficult to justify buying them all in one. It's either £35 for the trilogy, or £30 for them seperately. (£10 for corruption, £5 each for the GC games, plus £5 GC controller and £5 memory card if you don't have them yet).

excellent game. Completed it a while ago when it first came out and decided to revisit the first two - which I was about half way through on then gamecube.

Metroid 3 is definitely the easiest (not easy, just easier than the sometimes tricky first two parts) and is first class throughout but for my money it's just not quite as good, even comparing the wii version of 3 with the gamecube versions I have of 1 and 2.

This shouldn't be seen as a criticism though - it's still brilliant and far far better than many so called top class shooters. Just make sure you get 1 and 2 as well!

oh and I should say - at this price it would be rude not to!
