Can’t see this being much cheaper before release. Think simplygames have it at the same price but they take payment immediately, unlike base.

A preorder for 12 months time or no release date at all? even 6 months is taking the biscuit, pointless pre ordering so far in advance,

You can cancel this order any time if a better deal comes up.
There is no release date yet, in fact all Nintendo have announced is its coming with a teaser video.

I wouldn't bet on it hitting this year, its likely yes but not out of the realms of possibility this is a 2020 game in development.

How can that video be considered a first look? it's literally what looks like a title screen or a intro to the intro

Typical Nintendo though I guess, give us the number 4 and people still go crazy

Why's it pointless pre-ordering so far in advance? As someone else says, it's easy enough to cancel, should a better deal present itself.

First-party Ninty titles rarely drop that much in price. Seems you have nothing to lose pre-ordering now but everything to gain, win win

This is a triple A Nintendo switch release like Mario odyssey, breath of the wild, Mario kart etc - I cant see you getting this at a better price 6 months before release. But that is my opinion.
My point was there is no release date and nobody can see into the future for prices etc, each to their own I guess.

6 months before never?

Not voted btw not for me, least its been posted for people who want to order, so not discrediting the deal just putting my opinion across

I would be surprised if Metroid Prime 4 is ever cheaper than this so I'm happy to order at £39.85!

If I do find it for less, it'll be easy to change over.

Thanks for the heads up

On dispatch
Preorder for a game which has no launch, likely 2020, and will be in plentiful supply come that day? I'll pass.
To be fair that is an OK price for a AAA Nintendo title. I’ll wait to see how things pan out over the year, though.

Supply is not the reason why people are pre-ordering this early...it's the price. Pre-ordering is free and doing it now means you are guaranteed to pay £39.85 - because it's not often you find 1st party Nintendo games dropping under the £45-£50 threshold even months after release. You can cancel it whenever you want without any hassle or charge.

The game that would make me buy a switch.

Anyone got any prices for breath of the wild 2 yet?
Thanks preordered. Will be very difficult to find this below £40 closer to or on release. Some people are missing the point or don't have experience with the price of Nintendo games.

Have they confirmed if prime trilogy will be released?

Have they confirmed if prime trilogy will be released?

No word yet. Don’t think it’s likely as the third one depended so much on Wii remote controller but fingers crossed 🤞
Blindingly good deal this. Easy to cancel at any point.
Even the Tesla model 3 will be out before this...

Why does that matter in the slightest anyway? No way it will be much cheaper than £40, for a first party nintendo game (and actually the first proper first party shooter/FPS).

Nothing to pay until release, secured a copy at a good price, easily cancellable before then if cheaper anywhere else, why the hate exactly?
