Better than nothing but it's just wallpapering over the cracks. They'd be better off investing in a network that doesn't treat commuters like sardines and break down every other week...

they were on Market Street stop today.

Hot, but would prefer they put more effort into running the service properly. It really has been a mess this last year!

Probably not but in the past 6 months we've had our ticket checked i'd say about 15 times by different inspectors and not one have questioned it.

Me and my girlfirend always use a 'family' travel card...you dont have to … Me and my girlfirend always use a 'family' travel card...you dont have to have a child with you...Even asked the ticket inspectors and they said the same.



Unfortunately, you do need to have a child with you. If they said that you don't, then they were wrong.

I always thought that the family day ticket cards were brilliant value, compared to the prices on other public transport. Never realised that this deal was available. Thank you for posting !:)

I've been on the tram a lot and as long as you've got a valid ticket to travel you're fine! 2 Adults can travel together on a family ticket!

Or, just borrow someone elses child when the ticket inspector is around.

umar1980, That's what I thought but the terms state:

"Terms and conditions:

For Family Travelcards, at least one adult and one child must be travelling together."

Not really a deal though, is it, just a standard fare. All tram networks sell rover tickets so I don't see what's so special about this one. Cold.
