It's against the law to sell body parts - Amazon should be ashamed (hope they are well washed before they send them)

We just got one of the Faringdon 3.5 litre stainless steel mixing bowls from ]Amazon for £4.40 and it's very good. I can't see that this one would be worth the extra. If you want one close to this size then they also do a ]2.0 litre for £3.43.

Apart from the lack of inside volume measure and anti slip bottom.

Yes they are, just checked the Meyer website

Thanks! How do I add heat, sorry, new to this!

Yeah, exactly. It's just a mixing bowl.

I wasn't agreeing with you. I will find both of those very useful.

It's the non slip bottoms which attracted me!

Gone for a set of 3 in Black, now on a 2 to 3 Week leadtime, but I can wait.

Thx OP Heat added.

ok..bought the set...x

I did toy with buying these a month or so back but opted for the cheaper faringdon (previously mentioned in this post) one which i like, only downsides i can see is that the outside of the bowl is not brushed and gets prints all over which is a minor annoyance when cleaning, Ive whipped up many things since ive had it with my 250w hand mixer and it doesn't move around too much, you are always going to have a hand on any bowl i would think - even these circulon ones.

can anyone confirm if these ones are brushed on the outside.

I think the volumes on the inside could be useful when it comes to making big cake mixes but not sure i'd really have any other use for it.

the 5l faringdon is a bit big though for some tasks so have been thinking about getting a couple of smaller ones, could be tempted on these is they are brushed SS on outside too

there is always this option to go with the faringdon and it has other uses.

however this is a HOT deal and i know Circulon make quality products, got the toaster from amazon two weeks back at only £20, and i thought the crumb drawer was something that just never worked with toasters.

I have one of the 2.5l ones (came with my circulon pan set I think) and the non slip base is pretty useful but I never use the volume measures I must admit, as they're not in small enough units (10ml lines would be good).

Just had a look at mine and the outside is not brushed, just the inside.

Tempted to buy another bigger one at this price, can never have too many mixing bowls (especially if you're rubbish at washing up mid baking like I am!).
