What difference does it being the Spanish version make?

The phone powers off from midday - 2pm.

I don't have the phone yet but money has been taken from my account, phone has been dispatched and is 'en camino'. Some great prices, heat added.

None whatsoever. Just change the language on startup, and obviously an EU plug.

Awesome, thanks! Sorely tempted here. Current on an honor view 10 which to me was massively underrated phone, I love this thing. I would go to a view 20 but I've been thinking about getting off the cheap Chinese phones given the recent huawei issues.

I had been weighing up the A70... These are bargains though!

Which one you looking at then?
The Mi 9T isn't available for shipping to the UK from the linked seller as far as I can see.
I have the mi 9t in red it's an awesome divice for the money weird thing is it turned up last week didn't need an adaptor as the one in the box was a UK plug an it was all sealed not been opened an checked like most do from china

Mi 9T. I like the complete screen and the IR blaster - I find I use the one on my view 10 surprisingly often.

What's putting me off is a) it's another cheap Chinese phone and I worry my company will one day ban them outright and b) limited to 64gb memory.

Probably got the Hong Kong version, they use 3 pin plugs, just the same as the global but without the red sticker on the side.

Lol, yeah when you said you didn't want another Chinese phone, I was thinking well they won't want the Xiaomi

Yeah no SD card slot is the killer, but 64gb has never been an issue for me, I struggle to fill a 64gb phone.

And Chinese phones are the future.

Follow the instructions in the linked deal in the description, obviously it'll be a bit of hassle for you as you aren't planning on buying this, but for someone serious about buying then the instructions are there.
Mi 9T approaching competitive price...

Mi 9T approaching competitive price...

Competitive with what?
For under £280-300, you can't really get a better phone....even the Mi 9 with its 855 isn't that much better (depending your use case ofc)

... with best value for money in midrange, £200-250 territory

(Mi 8 around £200 good point of reference; Mix 2s, Mi 8 Pro inside that bracket too)

In £250-300 price bracket some options arguably better than this, Huawei P20, Honor View 20 come to mind

This was best deal of eBay promotion in midrange:

That won't impact it from what I can see. The link only has one seller. It's a 3rd party fulfilled by Amazon. If you select Mi 9, its Prime day offer is still available but not for Mi 9T. Probably due to Amazon Spain having no stock.

If I bothered to curate my video and media I could make it work. Think this is worth it over the ebay sellers offering comparable prices? I'm assuming the warranty/support will be the major difference...

Absolutely agree BTW. The value of the phones coming out of China is just phenomenal. The only barrier (other than espionage!) is proving medium to long term software support, which both Xiaomi and Huawei/Honor have handily done.

Its sold out now, but yeah I'd choose an amazon Spain purchase over a random ebay seller any day.

Though depends on pricing if I'm honest.

And yeah re - updates, they are better than some of the other manufacturers, whci is only a good thing going forward.
I thought the oneplus 6t was good value at £365 and didn't need to be a prime member!

Useful but more of a gimic, like it takes more than 0.1 seconds to plug in a reversible cable.
Also with a 4000 mAh battery, good luck burning through it before you put it on charge for the night anyway.

I have numerous Qi speakers dotted around the house which I don't intend to make redundant and no I don't leave the phone on charge throughout the night.
NOT compatible with Android Auto, so if you use it in your car, it might not be the best phone to go for, there might be a fix but who knows when.
