will these work with ST without the need for a DH as these are the UK version?
Not letting me buy at that price
It says in the specs it uses ZigBee to the sensors, so could I use the Hue dimmer switches with this Gateway to control Yeelight bulbs which use Alexa/WiFi?

Yes you can but it doesn't work directly you have to use device handlers via Smartthing IDE, check below links for step by step guide and device handlers.

Device handlers:

OR

Seems like a decent price, I already have a few xiaomi door sensors, motion sensors and the buttons. Tempted to get this for a few more and interested in the hub now it has a uk socket. I use mine with home assistant, worth looking into if you're interested in these.
I have this or something very similar (aqara gateway) along with lots of switches including hard wired light switches, it works okay but I have to use the chinese server or it can't find my switches. This means there is a delay when pressing the buttons sometimes and it doesn't work with ittt or alexa etc I've just signed up for bulb to get the samsung smartthings hub and 2 smart plugs for 99p, as I think I should be able to use my switches with it.

The original post seems better value for UK users. Hub has a UK plug, has 2 door sensors and 2 motion sensors as well as the switch. Can't see much use for the zigbee plug included in this link if UK based

Hi I have mine setup to work with Alexa and Google home to control the lights but the Hub is really good for things like automatically switching the lights on when you walk in to the hallway telling you the temperature and your house
All the Mi home equipment is really good. I have door/window switches, temperature sensors, bulbs, smoke detectors, water sensors and a camera.

Only issue I have is getting notifications through regularly on my Androids smart phone. Anyone had the same problem and managed to solve it? Same issue on my s8 and mate 20.
Assuming this won't be compatible with Alexa?
That app is HORRIBLE.

Also when I did finally find the sensor set, it's just got a grey button with "event coming". Doesn't appear to be purchasable.

Update: Finally let me purchase it. There's no mention of it being a UK plug so hopefully the app just 'knew' I was in the UK and they send the right kit. I already have loads of devices from the China warehouse so I'm just going to add them to the UK devices when they arrive.

Ok so reading further into this, the motion sensors don't appear to be the Aqara type which can be controlled with the ambient light level (therefore you don't need to set and keep moving the time they activate your lights during the Winter/Summer) and the hub might also not be compatible with the Aqara type sensors I already have.

I'm probably going to have to cancel this now as this seems to be a downgrade from what I already have.

Update: chat agent has confirmed the sensors are not the Aqara type. I wouldn't bother if you're going to link the motion sensors to lights, you'll be messing about with the time periods every month or two.

I already have the Xiaomi door and motion sensors + yeelight bulbs 1st and 2nd Gen + desk light + air purifier 2 (not the S)

I have ordered this and will see what works and what doesn't on the EU server.

I have 2 dafang 360 cams but know they won't work as they were china server only so they will need to remain.

Might pick up the UK mi 360 cam in the sales to replace the dafang although I recon the dafang is the better device.

Nice to see a good number of debices now supported on the EU server so will finally jump over to the EU stuff and hopefully all works nicely.

Would have stuck with the China server had the doorbell been waterproof but they are yet to release one that is and in the UK wouldn't want to take a chance on a non IP rated doorbell cam

Hi I have the motion sensor connected to my lights and I never have to mess around with time settings I think the Hub has an ambient light sensor it just works for me, I am connected to the China server

There are two types of motion sensor, Mi and Aqara. I have both, and the Aqara ones will only turn the lights on when the ambient light goes below a (non-changeable) level. The Mi sensors just turn the lights on regardless, which is why I say you'd have to play with the timings because it's dark at 4pm Winter but not 4pm Summer.
Will this be compatible with all the Chinese sensors available on Ali etc?
I bought a China version last year, the hub doesn't work anymore (can not be detected). Will my previous sensors work with this UK version?

On a different note, is there a way to get the sensors to work with Amazon Echo Plus/Show/Google Home without the mi hub?

Also, is there any IFTTT integration with these sensors? I.e. Turn on Hue lights when it detects motion/door opening?
Not sure why this deal closed.
Just to mention, the deal is on and also got free Mi LED as a gift when buy set of sensor.

I've order too :), I first got the china version of the hub which would not connect to UK, then went to smart things, but have come back after realsing I only want sensor to turn on lights, seems silly to pay 80£ for a hub for all these features I won't use.

in 2019 the cheapeast sensors and are aqara anyways

You can get Xiaomi or Aqara to work with other hubs for example Smart Things, but you need some sort of hub to receive the Zigbee protocol to get it to work with Google home.

What reason do you want a sensor to work with google home exactly? a bulb yes but why would you want to ask google to do anything with a sensor?

IFTTT is not possible directly with MI home, although you could set MI HOME to send a notification and IFTT to grab notification that say xxxx then get that as the trigger.

I say go MIHOME until its cheaper to use something else, if something else comes up in the future your currenty sensors will work with it because the code can be done by individuals and someone will port it over to the next best thing.

these cheap sensors will have a lot of hobbyists using them so you can be safe to know there be people working on porting them in the future unluck more expensive sensors

My main objective is to want my Hue lights (connected with Hue bridge) to turn on when I open a door with a Mi sensor on. I have both the Google Home, Amazon Echo Plus (2nd gen), Amazon Echo Show (1st gen) and a Lenovo Smart Display. Will any of these do the trick without getting a Smartthings hub?

The Mi hub isnt working anymore. But when it was, I had it send notification of a door opening sent to my phone and also the alarm buzzing when armed.

Thanks for the link, but that requires the Mi hub to be working. As mines broken, I was hoping there was a way to get it work with my other devices since the Mi hub didn't have much functionality beyond its own ecosystem.
