New album, but hes dead.oO

New album, but not him singing on some tracks according to his children. The record company really must have pulled out all stops for this cash-in.

So release a load of tosh that wasn't good enough to release while he was alive? Stinks, but always happens. Look at the dross they released since Biggie Smalls and 2Pac died.

emm MJ didnt release alot of his later stuff as he didnt want Sony to get the cash for it, unfortunately his untimely departure now means they will get the cash but you can rest assured its good enough to be released.

RIP Michael

He's the new Tupac!

Anyone heard the new song with him and Akon? It's horrible!

on the plus side, if they do want to do videos for these songs they already know what he looks like as a zombie.

This is the material that he was gonna put on his new album. It's got songs produced by wyclef, Will I Am and Neyo.

Gonna be a amazing!

I think my sarcasm detector just punched me in the face.
On that note, I refuse to listen to any post death MJ song.

Go to MichaelJackson.Com to listen to the new MJ/Akon song called "Hold My Hand", it is pure genuis.

If this song is anything to go by, the album should be a No.1 smash hit.

Pre-orders are already topping 3 million worldwide.

???????? what difference does that make??? Legends like Lennon, Mercury, Presley all had music released.

had a listen to the album, sadly nothing like True MJ albums. Mostly other signers doing most of the work with what seems like MJ samples and a load of synth'd music.

You obviously have NOT listened to the album.

For example, the track "Hollywood Tonight" has Michael Jackson beat-boxing throughout, he replicates the sound of instruments with his mouth, another reason why he was considered the greatest artist ever. He sings 4 verses & 1 bridge, none of which have been 'sampled' from other songs.

Your argument is invalid.

I have listened to the album several times. OK the tracks have him singing on it, and I do like Hollywood Tonight, Monster and Behind the mask to name a few, but this is not the MJ that we know as it isn't anywhere near his own perfected style, hence why he locked it away but it is good listening maybe something produced for the new era. Yes he was and will always be classed as the greatest artist / entertainer ever. His concerts were always amazing and now that is what I call entertainment as no other concert will match.

It's been said he wouldn't have wanted these tracks released it is a money making scheme by Sony and the estate despite what his family want. No doubt it will hit no 1 worldwide but just how much will the family get. The legals will get their 10% before anyone from the family get a cut.

Don't get me wrong MJ will live forever it's sad he passed away. I would have given my right arm to see the last concert,

Maybe I am an old school MJ music person, for what it's worth I was mixing up MJ tunes before bedroom mixers were doing it with Acid house etc. It would interesting to see what DMC come up with or the white label mixers.

Good post, MJ was the best, agreed. As for his 'old school' stuff, yeah they will alway be classics but he wrote & produced some BELTERS during the 90's. Stranger in Moscow, Will You Be There, Black or White, You Are Not Alone, They Don't Care About Us, Butterflies & Scream to name a few.
