Someones actually voting cold.. where can i find this cheaper then?

(I dont know why I bother)

I love Michael Moore, and this is worth having just for the performance by Eddie Vedder

Apparently this is about Michael Moore's tours round America for their 2004 elections, so not a DVD I would want. You'd be better to buy his Capitalism and Sicko! documentaries and watch these in the context of what our own government is currently doing! Amazon Marketplace has Sicko! for 51p + P&P.

I am a fan of Michael Moore's work, have seen this DVD and would not recommend it. A few good moments such as appearances by Eddie Vedder and REM, but on the whole very slow-paced and dull, nothing like his other films. Not so much a bad film as an extremely disappointing film given the quality of his others. In my opinion his best is Sicko and I'd recommend that instead to someone who hasn't seen one of his films before.

Also worth noting that the film is given away (to US and Canada residents, though you could lie) on his website free of charge so that is clearly a recognition by him that it's not the greatest film - or perhaps you could argue he just wants to spread his politics?

Not going to vote either way, just leaving my comments in case they are useful to anybody.

I would like to echo the recommendation you made to buy Sicko, but I cannot agree with you about "Capitalism: A Love Story". I felt Moore jumped to the conclusion that capitalism as a whole has got it all wrong, when in fact he only really studied it through the lens of American politics. I enjoyed the investigative nature of the film and the injustices he exposed were extremely interesting as usual, but almost every single criticism he made was in fact a criticism of some aspect of the American political system, not capitalism at all. On that basis I felt the film wasn't bad exactly, but certainly was mis-sold.

Good price. However, when I saw it instore I passed as a film/documentary on US elections doesn't particularly interest me.

In a similar vein (kindof) I saw a shelf full of Morgan Spurlock's ''Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden' DVDs today in Poundland. This will also be available nationwide no doubt.
