Thats the cheapest I have seen a PRIMACY 4 and that too fitted. COSTCO members. The nearest cheapest price is £85 in Blackcircles and that too without fitment.

One thing to remember is you can buy them, Take them home and have them fitted within a year.
That might help.

Voted hot and perfect timing for me, sadly the MOT people decided we need new tires. We used Costco last time, the cheapest and best option for us. We fitted Michelin. Strangely enough, 2 years later we need 2 new tires. The Bridgestones we had before lasted 5 years. I was thinking at Michelin again, but 2 years is not acceptable considering the brand. We certainly didn't drive more. Our 4 Michelin including fitting were £350 at Costco.

Does anyone knows if this a limited time offer or their regular price, thanks.

Good price op
But it's not for me as I always buy part worn which normally have only 1mm of use....I bought a car end of last year which had 4 continental tyres on them...sadly 1 tyre was donw to 4mm,so I got a partworn for 30 quid fitted .
Now I know this is not for all and some will slate this idea...but I've never had a problem in 20 years of doing this and saved a fortune.

Good call.......... I did not know that !
So close, need 65 not 45
Can't find it on the website anymore but do they have a policy of only fitting new tyres to the rear? I need two front tyres, will they fit these to the rear and the current rear ones on to the front?

I needed new fronts recently, and they put the new ones on the back and the old back ones on the front.

Thats the price you pay for grippy tyres. Better handling and decreased stopping distances, but they wear out quicker

Yep, they always did this for me when I used to get them from Costco
C, A , 69db rating for anyone who cares... very good deal for this tyre. Next best for this tyre, speed and load rating would be Dunlop Sport Maxx RT at £76 fitted which is B, A, 69db

Yes, I did, at the Sheffield store.

Thanks, I will give it a try. Do you remember how much they charge? Still debating if I should buy 2 or just change back to front. One of them is 0.9 to the legal limit, so ok in my opinion, the other one is only 0.4, I have no clue how long this will last to reach the legal limit.

Yes they should and you should ask them too aswell there is a very good safety reason for doing it.

Just change them. Legal limit doesn’t mean safe. You’d be surprised how poor a condition legal tyres can be. Plus you should really change in pairs to stop uneven wear

Thanks! This is what I am debating, to change them both, or to replace back to front, I will definetely not change only one. The thing is at the garage I was told the current ones are fine, while the Toyota service suggested they may need changing soon.

The reason you put new on the back is in theory you get less grip at the rear as weight is at the front engine etc plus you steer with the front too so rear is also more like not to follow if tyres are bad etc. We had a blow out on a tyre on the front. I bought 2 new and stuck them on the front rears on the front. Have u measured the tyres yourself. You can get cheap measurers
As said above, get them changed. I had an emergency stop in the rain last week, when a cyclist appeared in front of me. I'd have hit him had I had low-tread tyres.
If you want the better rated ones with A/A they are £13 more a tyre. camskill.co.uk/m54…8dB
Is there a new rule where Costco wont swap front and back under certain situations , I believe there is

Yes, on cars that have different tyres size front and rear!
Actually the idea to having the best tyres on the rear is that it helps to prevent oversteer, or generally losing control of the back of the car. Most drivers can’t recover from oversteer and so may end up hitting something.

Nope it’s to do with amount of tread on front tyres I seem to remember.
