This is a great price for these tyres. I've been using them on my road bike all winter and now into the summer. No punctures, no cuts in the rubber and also nice and fast. A steal at this price.

A clincher tyre will only fit on a clincher compatible rim.

Good price for a good tyre

Unfortunately, I bought two tyres for my bike a couple of weeks ago, or would have given these a chance.

I actually opted for Vittoria Rubino at £11.80. Used them before and never had a p..c...e (don't want to say the word and tempt fete)

good review by bike radar but very mixed from the public

Been using these (25mm) for a while. Excellent tyre in my experience, a few cuts into the tyre, but no punctures, and I ride very glass strewn roads in Liverpool - a lot tougher than scwalbe lugano / continental ultra (the last 2 tyres I've rode) . They also grip well.

So far I've used the following tyres on my road bike and it really is a mixed bag:

Michelin Pro Race 3's - super fast tyres but they cut up way too quickly
Continental GP4000S - excellent all round tyres but do cut up a bit after a while
Schwabe Ultremo ZX - fast but terrible durability - cut way too easily and the side walls are literally falling apart after very little use
Continental Grand Prix - came with my bike, decent protection but a little sluggish
Michelin Krylion - excellent all round tyres - top notch durability and do not cut up

For an everyday all round tyre suitable for most people, it has to be the Krylions or the 4000's. If I every dabbled in some racing I would go for the Pro Race 3's but for general cycling on our often poor road surfaces, I much prefer the added puncture protection.

I don't post too many deals on here but this is the cheapest I've seen the Krylions - I don't think I've seen the 4000's under £20 ever.

Use discount code 'PBK10' for an extra 10% off to get it delivered for £17.27 - even more of a bargain!

Expired. I wish it wasn't though as I need some new tyres.
