great for very short distances where there is snow covered roads but once the snow is gone and its back to tarmac you have to take them off again. Most people wont even get any use out of them in this country.

And biggest is you might as well wait a few weeks for them to reduce further as there is no chance you will get them before the snow melts, Amazon are already pushing out delivery dates and orders for yesterday have been delayed until middle of next week, they could have done with some of these

All roads included treated were white last night so they'd of been worth a try, this is for next time i know its going to be possibly too late this time but that's stating the obvious! Or is it?
Are they Prime? Not sure how they'll get delivered in time for this snow.

once you hit tarmac they have to come off, or they will rip to shreds and can damage the tyres. They are really for full snow covered roads, ones where you have compacted snow where ploughs have left a layer of snow covering the whole road or where they havent been ploughed.

See the comment below yours its not that obvious

I know it sounds like "I should of...." or " I would of" the way many people speak but really, read it back to yourself....it make absolutely no sense

Excellent -- somebody needed to spell it out!
Our German cousins have to put M+S tyres on their cars for the winter, or risk having the blame for any accidents. Used to use them myself during the winter when I lived in the sticks, well worth the expense and you don't need to take them off on tarmac!!

Why don't you check on Amazon and see if you can get a lifetime supply of "have".
Maybe worth having at this price just in case, but I've had chains for my cars for years and never used them (as there's never been consistently snow covered roads on any journeys I've made) - potentially handy to carry as a last resort if you get caught in a big flurry and are stuck I guess.

If you put on decent tyres, you could make use of your "500bhp+" and pull artics out of snow drifts. I can't see it's much use for anything else.

It's either "It makes no sense" ... Or "it does not (or doesn't) make sense"

hahahahaah.... the Road is clean, and there's barely any snow on your driveway. I also drive a RWD sports car, and have driven every day this week to work, and there is much more snow where I am.

.... no wonder all the trains, schools, and offices shut down in this country when there is a few cm's of snow.

Luckily you have a massive car on a tiny drive, if you had the house to match the car, yes, it would be a ball ache!
I've been out on Wiltshire roads this morning using a pair of snow socks. These are much more suited to UK roads than chains as you're more likely to come across a mixture of snowed over and clear roads.
Would have bought these if they had my size

Snow socks better option than snow chains for the UK, unless you live in the countryside
Does it really matter in the grand scheme of things?
Is it really that difficult to work out the intent behind the post?
Our society is aware that lots of people suffer from issues such as Dyslexia, and yet it is still socially acceptable to mock people for mistakes like this.
Would you come on an internet forum openly mock those with a physical disability?

People who post on here are mostly doing so to help others, they do not deserve to be shot down for it.

Thank you Typey1. Much better than the £100+ for the usual suspects and only a tenner lost if never used.

Where am I mocking anyone. I'm simply pointing the error out. If their grammar improves then where's the harm? (Other than the pseudo-offense that some seem to revel in nowadays in this cringeworthy PC world we now inhabit....

CLS63 my word of advice is never buy one
And surprise, surprise, the ones correcting grammar have a comment history filled with grammatical errors.... If there's anything worse than a pedant, it's surely a hypocritical pedant.
