Mickey Mouse baby wipes 2p for 80 wipes on Asda online!

Found 5th Jul 2013
Advertised as 2p for 80 wipes on Asda online. May be a glitch ?
I have not used these wipes before so not sure about quality. If buying in bulk would use for cleaning after kids etc in house.
Need to order online for delivery or click and collect therefore would need to be a minimum order of £25

Just realised I haven't put in link properly. If you go to Asda and type in baby wipes it will come up.

Thanks russellanam I am new to this Hukd malarkey and this was my first post. Was having difficulty posting links to deals on my iPhone !

Unavailable now...

They are this price in store too, so long as you are lucky enough to find them. Asda are notoriously good at removing stock before it becomes 2p, unlike Tesco and their 1p items.

do you have to spend £25 for click and collect too??

check the country of origin. .

I've just ordered without any problems- we'll see if they fulfil the order

Israel.....hmm.....

u cant only make an order of 24 packs right?

how do you get around minimum £25 order?

lve had these before as toilet wipes 4 my 4yr old, there great

They will probably just have a substitution when the order is delivered e.g. one pack of smart price wipes!!

For those wondering about getting over £25, just order something expensive like a bottle of whisky or a computer game but then take it back into the store!!

A word of warning guys...

"You will be charged the in-store price of all available items on the day they are picked." They may be 2p today, but if the price changes back to full price before your order is picked....

If they deliver the order minus the wipes or the wipes are charged at full price, can you refuse to accept delivery and request a refund?

No they do not have to honour any online misprice as they you have not 'purchased' the goods yet. They only take payment on the day they get your order ready and you pay the instore price on that day. From a legal point of view a contract of sale has not been made until they take payment for the goods you have ordered. Telling them what you want in your order would be seen as an Invitation to treat and goods prices can change as well as stock levels. What they do in terms of customer service is down to them and at the moment supermarkets are fighting vastly to 'wow' customers to gain and retain market share.

If goods are out of stock then ensure you select substitute accepted so they provide an alternative for no extra money. Again this would only work if they accepted the price error first then opt to say give you a pack of their own brand for the same price. Not sure they would.

Which store did u see the offer?

Can also confirm this is instore. If it says unavailable to you online I imagine your local store (that they'd deliver from) doesn't stock them. My partner has just picked 18 packs up in Blackpool.

I have ordered the max amount x24packs@ 0.02p each = 0.48p total online (with other items to make up the minimum order requirement of £25
Waiting to see if they honour the price and deliver them!!!!!
Thanks.

Got 13 packs of huggies baby wipes for 26p, as the mickey mouse handy wipes were unavailable, so were substituted. Delivered to my door this afternoon.

Can't find them now

The reason they are 2p as the stock has been discontinued, they obviously havent realised as discontinued stock is marked down to 2p to be wasted off and not sold to the public. I know this as I am an asda employee.
Someone will be big trouble for not noticing this blip, but yes they will honor the sale as it is online ,instore -no they wouldnt

Got 18 packs for 36p in asda carcroft.
Very pleased, thanks OP.

they're coming up at £1 online for me

Ordered. Fingers crossed!:-)

Make sure you pick substitute so if they're not available you get an alternative for a bargain price! (As above)

Won't let me add to my basket
