Micro Scooter Sprite - Silver £75.99 @ John Lewis

For kids 5-12 but maximum weight is 100kgs. For a basic scooter you can’t go much wrong and this is the cheapest I’ve seen it. Good commuter scooter as it’s lighter weight than any of the adult scooters and front wheel just about big enough. Going uphill is pretty tough on it but I don’t fancy carrying anything bigger or heavier around. Plus free click and collect and returns from John Lewis. Have a feeling there’s not much love for Micro Scooters on HUKD but I reckon they’re pretty good and this is a great price.

Forgot to mention - great for keeping up with the kids this summer holiday. BTW I’m just over 6’1 and I can stand up straight on it. Handles just below my waist but I don’t like the handles up too high anyway.
Great price! Bought the pink one a month ago for £100
Wish those who are voting this cold would say why. It’s a good price for a good scooter.
Voted hot as this is a great price. I had to pay full price a couple of months ago for my daughters because they weren’t on offer anywhere at the time. It’s a good quality Scooter and it’s very smooth. My daughter didn’t feel that confident on the cheap ones which are very bumpy but she’s doing great on this. Give it time, it should gain some heat. Some people just vote cold for the sake of it and if the reason is they can find it cheaper from a reputable retailer they should share.
Great scooter and excellent price!!! Defo a great deal for putting away for Xmas if anyone needs too!!
worth every penny
Great scooter. Bought one for my daughter 5 years ago when she was 6yrs old and she's still using it. Pretty sure I paid around £50 for it.

Yeah, my daughter has a pink one too. Got it when she was 5 and it took her a little while to get used to it, coming off a 3 wheeled kiddies one. Now she’s 7 she flies on it! Just wish I’d bought a neutral colour one so I could have used hers instead of buying a new one! At least it’s a good price. This is certainly great for kids as it will last for years and they won’t outgrow it.

It’s a pink one my daughter has, I also tried to convince her to get a more neutral colour but she wasn’t having it lol. They do adult scooters as well but these are just as good as they are suitable for weight up to 15 and a half stone and the adjustable handle bars are great. I always have a go when we are out

Yeah, I was looking at a light adult scooter to commute and I realised that the one my daughter had already was ideal. Little short supposedly and the wheels a bit small but it’s light and built well which is what I wanted. Stumbled across this deal by fluke. Don’t understand how JL can sell it at this price because MS have a lowest price guarantee and it’s £95 on their site.

Looks almost identical to the ones I bought when ToysRUs was closing down (except different name and different stickers) but they were £40 down to £25, so the JL price is somewhat inflated from what they should be.

That being said they are solid enough scooters and I ended up buying 3 of them - one for my 8 year old, one for me and one for the wife (the 5 year old got a different one) and they work well for adults

I think this is the issue. A £40 Scooter is not even close to as good as this is. The price is not inflated since Micro Scooter sell them for £95 on their own website and about £90 on Amazon. I’m only replying since I really wanted to get this deal under the noses of parents and adults looking for a good scooter that will last literally years.
Thanks for replying though as I appreciate that you did.

I wasn't really meaning the price is overinflated, more that if it's like the ones I got then yes they are solid and the 100kg limit isn't an issue for most adults - I'm over 13st and still well under the 100kg limit.
