Excellent Deal

The dual Black and White at £29 is not bad either

I don't think these work in the dark.

Thanks for this! Just bought two. Searched for this same product and still selling for £70 - £80 everywhere else - so excellent deal! Hotted.

any idea if this could be connected to a laptop for recording purposes?

Otherwise I would probably need a vcr/dvd recorder, just had a look and looks like scart only

Could i plug this in back of spare tv and leave it on permanently? Please.

yes , you can by using a usb capture device , you would need a scart to phono converter .I've tried my cameras with the EasyCap device ,you can capture the input too.

yes , any tv with a scart socket , just plug in a leave on , even better if you have a modern tv with PIP , [picture in picture] you can be monitoring the camera while still watching a program

does anyone know if these work in the dark?

also can this been use outside?

You wont get a picture with these cameras in the dark ,theres no LED's around the lens ,even if they had you would be limited in terms of range . But , you could fit an external halogen lamp ,the one's that have PIR and come on when they sence body heat .So ,if for instance you had the camera watching a back yard or drive ,you could have the halogen lamp pointing in the same direction. Another method is to buy an LED lamp ,this shines an invisable light onto the area where your camera is viewing . You can only use the LED lamps with B&W cameras but will light up the area in the dark . You can normally fit cameras similar to the ones above in a sheltered position away from direct rain or strong sunlight for that matter.

The other set (black n white) with 2 cameras does include 1 camera with the leds to see in the night, and in my opinion is a better buy for £25. I dont think colour is that important to be honest for CCTV. Ive just ordered 2 sets which i should pick up on monday, great price and still available.

Thanx op.

yes these cameras do work in the dark but you also need a sensor light
