What’s the difference between McAfee and Norton?
    Avatar
None, they are both really unnecessary. Windows Defender is just as good but without all of the bloat ware and email spamming

Thanks @Random1234 just ordered too. Used my Amazon UK login, and UK Credit card (not fee free) and was charged £44.85 - easy purchase, the best kind

Cheers, stacked 'til May 2026, and even Norton is quite useful for the free iPhone VPN

How do u get the Norton though? Is it a separate code/email? Didn't see mine when i got it a few months ago

Cheaper in Amazon UK for £39.99
McAfee Total Protection 2022 | 6 Devices | Antivirus Internet Security Software | VPN, Password Manager & Dark Web Monitoring Included | PC/Mac/Android/iOS | 1 Year Subscription | Download Code amzn.eu/d/d…DeE

Is this for 6 people and upto 6 devices each ?
    Avatar
This is for 6 people and each of those people can install full Office on their device + they get their own 1TB OneDrive cloud storage. So 6 devices belonging to 6 people. And the invite comes from the primary account (so 1+5) - you can view and edit on your microsoft home page

If you have an active Microsoft 365 Family subscription, you can share it with up to five members of your household. Each household member you share your subscription with can install Microsoft 365 on all their devices and sign in to five devices at the same time.

To add someone to your subscription, visit account.microsoft.com and follow the on-screen instructions to add a user. Each person you add will receive an email with the steps they need to follow. Once they have accepted and completed the steps, their information, including the installs they are using, will appear on their My Account page. You can stop sharing your subscription with someone or remove a device they are using at account.microsoft.com.

I have just my PC and my macbook and don't need any of the Norton/McAfee stuff - is this the cheapest I can get? I assume you can't turn 6 devices into 6x 15 months.
    Avatar
You can turn it into 1 x 15 months for you, and then gift the other 5 subscriptions to friends/family.

The ‘family’ plan is cheaper than the single/personal plan at the moment, so you would be better off getting the family plan, even if you never use the other 5 subs. (edited)

I haven't bought more than one code but did stack it on top of my previous subscription without any problems. I think the max that you can stack is 5 years worth of subs.
  8. Avatar
What's the stack time on M365, is it 5 years still?
    Avatar
    correct.
  9. Avatar
Yeah, McAfee goes in the bin- I am using it now and it is still as bad as it was 10 years ago. Still buggs you with unnecessary adverts and options….
    Avatar
But what are the alternatives? Kaspersky was perfect for me, but I'm struggling to find a anti virus that also allows android child controls and stops web browsing to dodgy websites.

Thanks OP, mine expired last week, so have been waiting for a deal like this. Purchased and applied to my account already
    Avatar
Does it apply the full 15 months immediately or do you have to claim the extra 3 months?
  11. Avatar
This is as good as it gets. Stack up, ladies and gents.
  12. Avatar
It's also available with Norton 360 for the same price.
  13. Avatar
    Fab price.
  14. Avatar
    Perfect timing.
  15. Avatar
    Purchased, thanks op
  16. Avatar
    Danke
  17. Avatar
Cheers OP, keeping the stacking going 👌
  18. Avatar
    worked like dream...
  19. Avatar
Thanks OP. That’s me out ‘til 2025 now.

Charged 51.99 EUR, converted to 45.18 GBP on my fee-free card. (edited)

ordered this last time, redeemed the office 365 had to wait a month before converting it to the family plan though.
but no idea where the norton code went, even if it was to sell it on
  21. Avatar
Great timing - my subscription was about to expire.
    Thanks OP, heat added.
  22. Avatar
Thanks, applied to my account no problem, and got an extra month free by turning on recurring billing temporarily .
  23. Avatar
Thanks OP, perfect timing and pretty straightforward to update my existing subscription with the email link. Never particularly happy about non-GBP payments on British credit cards so used Revolut instead: £45.12

Just a heads up - I recently got a new laptop and really didn't want to pay Microsoft a fortune for an office suite. I'm now using Libre Office for Word, Excel etc, and Thunderbird in place of Outlook. Completely free, legal and no ads. Working perfectly.
    Avatar
You should post that in a deal , it'll help a lot people if it's free.
  25. Avatar
Do you have to install mcafee or can you just use the office 365?
    Avatar
You can just use the office 365.
  26. Avatar
It keeps saying "This item is not available for purchase due to geographical restrictions."

    What's up with that?
    Avatar
    Same for me
  27. Avatar
I’m unable to stack for some reason!
  28. Avatar
Thanks, took the Norton option and all works just fine.
  29. Avatar
Should I wait for a better deal or is this as good as it gets ever?
    Avatar
I'd say go for it. It has been £39.99 a few times but that was the lowest ever and more regularly it goes down to £49.99 a few times a year on the Amazon UK site. (edited)

Thanks OP, Just topped up my subscription from March 2023 to August 2024. No issues.
  31. Avatar
    amazing deal outstanding!
  32. Avatar
Does this stack without jiggery pokery? I have 14months on a single user license at present And... Will it convert my existing to a family subs immediately or only afer my current 14mths is up?
  33. Avatar
I have my own domain set up with outlook.com from back when it was free… if I buy this can I convert those mailboxes into the full fat version?
    Avatar
Do you mean, can you load them into Outlook? If so, yes. It doesn't have to be a business/Exchange account. Hotmail/Outlook consumer accounts and other 3rd parties work too
  34. Avatar
Can you put one on a Mac and one on a pc
    Avatar
Yes, 6 people, 6 devices each
  35. Avatar
    I'm stacked until August 2026.

Can I buy this now, but use the code in 3 months time, in order to get the full 15 months stacked to November 2027?
  36. Avatar
    Good deal. Good find. Excellent.
  37. Avatar
As @MrPK has noted, family+3 months has been reduced to £39.99 on UK.

    Now expired;(

Couple of questions that I just couldn’t see an answer to:
    - Will this allow access to the desktop apps or is it just the web apps? I find the latter absolutely useless and really frustrating.
    - Has anyone used this for an SME? I work for a company with four employees; all of us use Office apps. Is it possible to use this and treat the family as the company? Or will it flag something with Windows and result in wasted money? We are really struggling with Office and this could potentially solve everything.
    Avatar
    1. Desktop and Web apps work.
    2. Really doubt it'd be allowed for non-personal use, whether you'd encounter any practical issues or consequences is a different matter though. But any employee could theoretically report it and get you in trouble i think, Microsoft used to have a way to report your employer if they were using pirated versions of MS stuff.
  39. Avatar
Can this be stacked on an existing sub that has 6 months to run?
    Avatar
Yes, I'm stacked till August 2026, I think max is 5 years
