I have been looking for a wireless keyboard to work with my Media PC next to TV. This looks to be a good fit. Plus Microsoft Hardware normally lasts a long time.

This looks like it is missing a bunch of keys.
Maybe home/end, page up and down are mapped to FN + direction keys.
What about the Insert & Print Screen keys?

I've got the Logitech k400 and it's a good reliable keyboard but then I got it for about £16. I think the Microsoft one looks better at that price.

This one looks interesting - Xenta Wireless Keyboard with touchpad . Hmmm, then again the reviews aren't so great.

The Xenta looks similar to a Rii one I had it broke but wasn't the fault of the keyboard.....good for minimal use but if you do a lot of desktop kind of stuff the MS looks interesting.......I have literally been through most types of media based keyboards.....

If you're going to do any serious typing on it (e.g. emails) then the MS one is much better. The keys themselves are terrible on the Logitech. Having said that, the Logitech one often drops to below £20 so if literally just using it as a wireless keyboard/mouse for a media machine the Logitech is better bet, but not at that price

They both do similar things at similar price points. Reading reviews on the Microsoft one, I recall one user saying he was returning to using his K400. As with all HIDs, personal preference plays a big part.
