There you go, same price (well £1 more), media keys, wireless and mouse included!! Same company (Play.com).

Didn't vote earlier but am going to have to "cold vote" the wired one at the prices - especially without a mouse

Did you see the review on plays site, it was £15.99 last September.

Not voted dont believe in cold

I was bought this Keyboard as a gift, and wouldn't have thought to get this particular one... but to be honest I DO like it a lot, it has extra functionality keys that I DO use, and was missing my old MS Office keyboard until I got this, so hot for me

Very basic "extra" functionality compared to the 3000, so doesn't qactually compare too well, although certainly cheap enough.

To be honest (for someone else), I am looking for a wireless "equivalent" too, as this person likes the feel of my wired 3000, and Microsoft don't seem to have one :-(
There are two other wireless keyboards in the house lying around doing nothing, a Logitech and a Trust one.... and both are a bit lacking, hence the reason for wanting something that will compare to the much liked 3000 wired model.

sorry but this level of keyboard has been at this price range for many years, i bought a similar one locally for about £15, 3 yrs ago, have to say they are very nice solid keyboards tho

Thanks for the suggestion.

This wireless keyboard may do the trick, but what I really would like is a keyboard I can use from my bed and have all the media centre functionality for using the TV, zoom in for internet pages that I can't read from the bed etc, etc!!

I ditched the old 14" crt in the bedroom and now have the PC with 22" wide screen and a Freeview USB stick which is great.
I can watch TV and use the PC all using the same monitor. I put the PC to sleep (only 4 watts power) and it will reboot in seconds.
