Just been looking around after somebody in the other flight simulator X thread said that that deluxe version makes all the difference and found it for £27.58 delivered from YesAsia, the cheapest i could find from a UK based store was £39.99. So for an extra £7.50 it may be worth getting the deluxe edition of this game over the standard one.

Good Luck

is it worth it for deluxe ?

I think so for 8 pounds anyway - well with it.

SP1 patch is out next week too - promise of potentially 40% improved frame-rates and some support for dual-core

Mark.

why has it been voted cold?

UMMM probably bcos its from yesasia

It is just about the best non-specialist flight sim available for PC and the amount of add-ons is increasing as it gains a hold over previous versions. If your computer is up to the hardware standards required then it is a great product.

I have no experience with Yes Asia, I bought mine new off eBay.

Or here in UK for £29.99inc

Lot of other cheap stuff as well

whats SP1,are you talking about a new versions of this game is getting released soon, with dual core,if so is it worth me waiting for it because i have dual core

new patch

so you can buy it now - then patch away when it arrives

whats a patch lol

i have a AMD athlon 64bit dual core 3800+ with 2.5GB of RAM,will be 3GB of RAM in the next couple of days. my graphics cards is the ATI saphire radeon X1600 PRO 256m. my computer is a acer t180 DC

I know its not the best spec, but would i be able to run the deluxe version on my computer, what would it be like. Im on vista premium

I also have my pc connected to my 50" HI DEF Plasma,if that makes any difference

what would it be like on my pc

Original Poster

Should easily handle it, my laptop handles it easily and th spec is nowhere near yours.

should just about - but my PC only just about gives decent frame rates ....

(E6600 overclocked to 3.1, 2 gig 8500 RAM, 1900XT ....)

depends on how nice you want the graphics turned up really

what do you mean by how nice i want the graphics turned up,didnt know i can alter it

Says on their site that std (free) delivery includes payment of VAT, Taxes etc, but then go on to say if you get hit by customs you must produce a valid receipt and that they will refund you, on completion of certain steps they will tell you, and help you complete.

Not sure about this, could be more hassle than its worth?

Anyone got clarification on this ?

iv never had to pay customs on anything iv bought from them

I was the poster of the other microsoft flight x sim, I have to agree that for £7 difference I would go for the deluxe version. Voted Hot
