Not in stock in any of my nearest store

Available in my locals, but delivery is an option if you really need it.Still a lot cheaper than trying to source elsewhere.

Oh - Is delivery based on local stock too? I never knew Argos worked this way.

Heat added and ordered, my local had stock thankfully. Absolute steal at £19.49!

Unfortunately yes, a lot of the time I go to order something popular from Argos, there's no stock nearby and no stock to deliver to me.
That's a lot. Was going to get one earlier today and was about to pay about twice. Something told me not go ahead. Weirdly, i also checked Argos, but didn't see that deal. Just randomly checking my fav app, and realised my gut feeling was right! Thanks a lot OP for this find!
Got one in a local store, about 5 miles away, so going to pick it up tomorrow!

I know it's not the best - but at the moment finding anything else is hard! I'm sure it will be fine for video calls / confrences.

Am sure it'll be better than my 10+ year old one. Just need something to see me better and don't want to spend too much. We after logitech c920,but everywhere price 2-3 times higher! Seem like webcam is the new toilet roll. Lol
Great find, ordered one for delivery - thanks OP!
hotter than a hot thing left in the sun all day! nice one op

I put an old friend onto one of these earlier today as his work laptop is playing silly beggars. Sure my old Microsoft webcam from nearly a decade ago can do 1080p, and was not much more compared to this. Seems the quality is going backwards resolution wise.
I have one on these plugged into my Xbox, works a treat.
Ordered thanks

I think these are also about 10 years old! I’ve certainly had mine about that long. It’s not the best, but it’s perfectly fine for video conferencing - especially for the cost and general supply shortage at the moment.
It's in store for collection 1 mile away but unavailable for delivery for me, so delivery must come from a central location.
I’m looking for something similar to do online meetings with clients. I’ve used my iPhone with IVCam app for Windows which works really well. Would this do anything that my current setup doesn’t?

Assuming IVCam basically turns your iPhone into a webcam the only benefits I see are having a separate webcam will let you use your phone while in the meeting. Also you can position a webcam in the “perfect” spot for meetings and potentially leave it there. (Assuming you have a desk rather than the kitchen table I use!)
Picking up from local store tomorrow. Perfect timing for me. Nightmare trying to find any webcams at reasonable prices at the moment.

Agreed. These are convenient and easy for non-technical folk.
Got one of these. It’s tiny but really good for the price. It has a little stand so if you need to move it to demonstrate something it’s really easy. Plug and play for windows 7 and 10 a doddle.

Shocking. I was going to get one for home and one for work, but thought I'll just take the one between computers so someone else can get one.
Release the geese!

Got mine ordered, unfortunately cancelled within 25 min by argos and stock then reduced to zero on delivery and local store - possibly an issue their end of stock numbers?
Heat - purely for being a rovers fan
Side note if you have the Sony webcam (PSeye?)from the PS3 days, there used to be drivers to make it work on Windows. It was a good 720p camera.

I got a Logitech C270 delivered on Monday but it took over a month to come from Amazon.

£24 when I ordered it but now it's jumped to £44.99!

How does this one compare to the Logitech? The 920 is far too expensive right now.
The novelty of webcams and to a lesser extent Teams has already worn off in my workplace after they realized we can still get the work done (if not more!) without trying to talk over each other for an hour a day and just individually communicate via email / Whatsapp if we need to
Be VERY careful with these on Windows 10. They aren't actually officially supported by Microsoft on W10 despite what Argos says on their listing. Most of the time they'll work okay but there can be some occassions where out of nowhere it'll just outright refuse to do HD video even after multiple restarts and changing USB slots.

Whats the difference between the Microsoft L2 LifeCam HD-3000and Microsoft LifeCam HD-3000?

The one on Amazon says L2 and is expensive and this one on Argos doesnt have L2 in the title and is a bit cheaper.

They ask you to be in queue in Sainsburys even if you only have to go to Argos

Did you pay for it? The free one doesn't seem to work.

Has anyone else used IVCam? Software from China, is it safe?
