You need to have made a qualifying call in the last 6 months. Which you mostly need to do anyway to keep a PAYG SIM alive (I think Virgin is less strict on this than others).

great deal, great price!

Specs are not going to set the world alight at least as far as the camera goes, but its £25 (and how many phones at that price even have a secondary camera?!)...with 1GB of internal ram and a dual core processor running a windows phone OS its hard to knock as a budget smart phone...3G, GPS, bluetooth 4.

A great deal, even as a music player or GPS(having an expandable micro sd card slot for music or maps....lumia storage check beta app allows storage of maps to SD)...the former Nokia (Lumia) Mix Radio puts spotify to shame, here drive is totally free.

Really hard to fault for £25, this deal should go through the roof.

(Copied over from the other 435 thread)

First impression of my 435 vs my 1020...

The loudspeaker is piercingly loud, but tinny (more than acceptable though).
Viewing angles are ok...with text being legible at all angles (but with colours changing hue).
MixRadio performs as well on the 435 as on the 1020.
The 435 actually loads web pages quite a bit quicker than on my 1020! Probably because I have been running my 1020 for almost a year now without wiping it or clearing out caches etc. Impressive nonetheless.
Build quality is excellent. The matte plastic and chunky design means it fits the hand perfectly. The buttons also have a solid click.
It has 4.35GB's of free space out of the box. Obviously you can save nearly every app available to SD card - so there is no reason to ever fill all that space.

All in all, a v.impressive phone for the money. I can't think of any Android phone that competes with it for design/capability.

EDIT - since this is a spare phone, I have left it on standby to see how long it lasts. It is syncing emails and has wifi on - but no sim card is installed.
It has dropped 16% of its battery in 26 hours. At least some of that time was with the screen on (messing about with wallpapers for the lock screen).
SO, this phone has potential to have great battery life. Just remember to use the battery saver app to switch off background tasks when you don't need to use them.
I'd definitely expect this phone to easily clear a day of moderate usage with everything syncing. & I would say 2 or more days is realistic for lighter users

With the Nokia 735 also only having 8GB of internal storage I have found the Lumia Storage Checker Beta app to be a godsend.

It currently is a glaring omission not being able to save maps to SD card, this allows that, and means when travelling abroad (if you do that is) I don't have to swap and change, I can literally have on my phone whatever maps I choose now stored to SD. The Lumia Storage Check is a far more versatile tool than the integrated Storage Sense tool.

I don't understand if there's a catch or not, can you buy this phone if you don't have anything to do with Carphone Warehouse at all but do have an EE sim that you use?

Serious question?
Assuming it is...then yes, you can run Tinder. Just download 6Tin for free...

(It has the added 'perks' of being able to go back to people if you swipe them away by accident. & most fun of all - you can go global dating by choosing your location manually :). Works a treat for getting contacts ahead of your arrival in a far off place. It also means that if you travel to a new city for the weekend, you can still keep your 'home' location -- meaning you don't waste time liking new people whom you'll never meet anyway)

Certainly. 6Tin looks interesting, but I am not sure from what I read whether it is a real Tinder client or just another Tinder-alike app. The point being that Tinder has a lot of users and another app might not. Otherwise it looks to provide more facilities than the Android Tinder.

Yeah the "6" apps I've used before are really well done. Much preferred the 6snap to the normal snapchat client before they started blocking 3rd party apps

Looks like via a quidco link as when I was trying to buy a phone the other day kept getting the same error response

Snapchat is only for pervs, teenagers and pervy teenagers anyways.

If you upgrade @ CPW, do you have to give your old phone in or can you keep it?

It says 49.99 plus 15£ top up at O2 ?

Can I ask why you felt the need to insert 'Only green available from CPW' into the OP?

If its a sim-upgrade as this is, you dont hand over anything. You get a new phone whether its delivery or collection.

can't believe people are complaining about this phone!. yes windows phone lacks some apps, true, but at this price point you can only get a Samsung e1270 or a Nokia 105 which are dumbphones which means no camera, 3g, music player, maps or APPs at all !.
if apps are what you are looking for, then go buy yourself a Moto E for 4x this price.
