Looks awesome

Oh, and a hint for anyone that does buy...
the standard back is a bit 'cheap'... Treat yourself to a Mozo (Got mine from Amazon) and it transforms it.

I'm still waiting until it's bogof, like the US offer, or the price drops below £200.

Amazing price!

Will there be a customs charge on this do you know? Really want to go back to Windows Phone but had so many issues with Skype on my 640XL I'm a bit scared...

No extra charges, it's from within the EU.

Brilliant phone, particularly for the money! The freebies are via the lumia offers app, really easy to do.

Had my 950xl since release and love it super fast and the battery life is amazing. Great price now so its well worth it

I had the 950 for a few months and hated this phone. It was so slow even though the hardware is top notch. It did a lot of random reboots when just browsing the net and using the camera. The camera app was annoying because it kept asking you to rate it in the App Store. Windows phone 8 apps run really poorly on this phone which was important because a lot of apps hadn't been updated to 10. Save yourself the money and get an android or iPhone, even Microsoft have stopped putting much work into the platform.

Windows phone now just 1.1% of of world market... so don't buy any expensive apps! Android now on 80% of worldwide sales. Gartner report

If you are lucky enough you might have received a direct e-mail from Microsoft and then you get a £100 gift card and the free doc but no Office 365 for £319.99 single sim.
Love my 1020 and my 735, but these new phones are apparently not great, sadly it looks like Microsoft are going to abandon the phones completely, so not voted either way.

I've owned this phone for a few weeks and it has proved faultless. It's obvious to me that some of you have handsets with faults and this should not be seen as typical of all handsets.
I suggest you try and furnish an exchange if possible.
Also, with regard to the Office 365 offer, on my phone, that offer is available through the Lumia Offers app at the mo. And can someone explain if there is a difference Office 365 over an Full MS Office enterprise edition which I get from work?

Many reviews were based on early samples which, frankly, didn't have a 'complete' version of W10 on them... Very different device now, much more complete, and 'work'.
As for Office, O365 is an annual subscription model, the applications you get vary depending on your enterprise subscription, but will likely have the same apps. O365 annual subscription, your work one, no annual subscription.

Thanks for that info. I'll keep with my work edition for now as it covers all I need.

Just got a 950, just make sure you do all the updates before doing anything else.
Well pleased with mine and got a few freebies from the Lumia Offers App - Office 363 - Continuum Dock and £50 Microsoft Store Credit. Which I purchased the wireless charging dock ( this is a nice piece of kit in its own right )

don't buy this phone 1 of the worst flagship phone.. battery life is dreadful.. Won't even last a day. Microsoft has Fd it up with win10

Nice joke the battery life is the best I have seen for a phone so far. I get about one day and a half only using it for calls, text and push notifications like facebook/whatsapp. But at work when I use it for gaming and constant youtube watching I get about 6hrs and that's pretty damn good for that haha. Anyway inly takes 40mins for a full charge due to the 3,000 nah battery

Yeah, help Microsoft increase its 0.7% share of the Smartphone market. It is 0.7% for a reason, Windows on phones is a dead end. I could understand buying a bargain low end windows phone to just use as a phone but buying a 'flagship' windows phone - crazy.

lol one day and half of calls, text and push notification.. what a a joke indeed. Google the battery testing even the huawei p8 lite ( a low/mid range smartphone) surpasses it!

sorry guys but I got to say this... windows phones are **** hence why it's cheap. I had one for a company phone and its horrible with limited app selections and rigid UI. Avoid it and you are better off with an Android phone or iPhone.

£319.99 from UK Microsoft store - no code needed. Plus 5% TCB

Or £287.99 from the student store but no mention of the docking station. As you have to claim it (it's not bundled with the handset), you may still be able to get it.

I think you've been cheated with Office 363 - what're you going to use the last two days of the year?

Strange about battery life comments...
I'm a pretty heavy user, and I'm really happy to get a full day of life out of mine. The android I had before this had a 4000mah battery, and did manage a day, with a little more left, but not a huge difference.
Happy to have this do a full day with comfort.

Once again, early reviews should basically be ignored now with regards to performance, Win10 has changed a lot since then.

Usual android fanboys on here....Great phone/spec/camera etc. If this was an android phone it would be super hot right now. I actually don't believe some of the comment from 'alleged' owners. Granted the app store isn't as good, but Microsoft are refocusing on fewer devices (Apple get away with it) which makes sound business sense. Mine gets hammer every day and the battery lasts all day. At £250 id recommend everyone gets one. At this price its still----but only just------ for the enthusiast!

I'm gonna hold out for a sub £250 price...

I was a HUGE fan of WP8.1 and had several handsets over the past couple of years. W10M was rushed and unfinished, released in a horrendous state and introduced the f augmentation problem to Windows Phone. Although it's got a lot better it's still buggy, especially on older upgraded devices, and so now us longtime fans have a choice of outdated and less supported 8.1 or buggy 10. I have Lumia 830 which was billed as an affordable flagship so if it's not great on this then I doubt it's great on the rest (of the upgraded devices). I don't blame Microsoft for the app gap as its down to the developers to release their apps on Windows, but I definitely DO blame them for releasing unfinished buggy software and I feel like if I continue to buy their new handsets despite them not working properly then I will be part of the problem. I had planned to buy Lumia 950 on the week of release - like most Lumia fans I was waiting ages for a new flagship.

I still love the Windows OS, the style of it. I like the little touches like Glance screens, double tap to wake, pure view cameras, live tiles, universal apps... If it worked 100% the way it should then I'd recommend it all day, but for now I'm gonna wait until I can see Microsoft are trying (or until I see the price point mentioned above).

See the usual haters are around. I have no issues with my phone, the camera is fantastic.

It's a little sad that people now think a phone that can last a whole day is good. MS have basically killed windows phone through complete ineptitude, the lumia920 was a great phone but they seem to be going backwards now.

My iphone only lasted like 5-6hrs on a good day full charge lol not many smart phones that can get a day unfortunately when running Everything that you want and in background. But for me the 950 is best so far. Hopefully this year someone makes a phone that can last maybe 2 days but probably dreaming

Just a heads up to you all, this has also seen a price cut from the official Microsoft UK stores...down to £319 with dock.

it's been that pri efor a,while

How polished is W10 now, or is it worth waiting for the surface phone?

Currently have a 920, and as it's not getting 10 I'd like to change handsets. Got the S6 edge on the ebay 20% off everything deal a few months back, but hated it. I literally only browse the web and listen to music off youtube. One area I loved was that you could listen to the music ad-free with the screen off. Does this feature still exist in W10? Also, iPhone owners, can this be done on iPhone. Considering the SE as well...

ive got a lumia 930 and just upgraded to W10 and cant fault it. the 950 is my next fone when i upgrade in october.

Looks awesome

Microsoft are bailing so possibly why it's pushing loss leading stock out?

Neither of the codes works :\ they both say "not valid"

any ideas?

Been using Windows phones since the HTC Hd, but my 930 will be the last. The 'app gap' never bothered me until recently when companies/developers have stopped supporting apps. PayPal and Amazon are the latest to go. Real shame as it's my favourite OS.
