Microsoft Office 2016 for £9.95 @ Microsoft Home User Program (via your employer or Govt job) - official/ legit

Official Microsoft download - Microsoft Office 2016 - £9.95 - available under home use program - only if eligible. (There are some cheap Ebay copies if not, which seem to work fine, probably came from refurbished company PCs.) If your employer is participating in this, you should be able to purchase Microsoft Office 2016 for £9.95. (Mac/PC).

Go to the deal URL and provide your work email to check whether you are eligible. Even if you do not know your "Program Code," you can still proceed.

Unlikely, That’s not how MS licensing works, you cannot legitimately sell “extra” licences and even if you could the system you install it on would normally have to check in to the organisations key management server at set times (often every 30 days) or Office hours into reduced functionality mode. No system administrator would sell extra keys, if they were caught it would probably lead to disciplinary action.

These are are most likely MSDN, stolen volume licences or Keygen made keys. They Will work for a while but eventually will be disabled as Microsoft catch on to them being activated too many times.

If you you need an office package but don’t want to pay for Office itself look at the free office suites such as libre or open office rather than giving money to someone for a code that will fail in the future.

Cold. This is £9.95 too expensive when Libre exists.

Do Libre now sell ms office cheap?

This seller has sold over 700 getting good feedback, providing an academic licence for MS Office 365/ 5 devices/ £3.49 - looks legit. You can find others but you'd want to spend an extra £ or so to give yourself better certainty you were buying a genuine Office licence, eg from refurb or as here, Academic licence.

How does this work, £3.50 for lifetime. Got to be a scam surely, like the lifetime Netflix I purchased for a fiver and got blocked?

Judging by the feedback, the Ebay one I gave as an example works fine, at least for the 3 months you can give feedback! I guess it will be universities etc which each purchase (say) 5,000 academic licences per annum, finding they have bought too many so selling on some of the spares.
The microsoft home use programme allows you to buy one license, ostensibly whilst you are employed by your organisation. It is genuine - over the years I have bought Office, Visio and MS Project. Remember to download and save the software though, and t can only be registered once from memory.

Of course you could also buy a used normal product license at a vastly reduced price, via fleabay or some direct sellers.
Cheers bought the eBay link .
Probably dodgy ! But bought a Netflix 12 month subscription from eBay for £5 , that was 24 months ago and it’s still on . Bargain!

I'm still using mine over 2 years after leaving work. I know some people here will think I'm the antichrist. Lol.
For my needs, LibreOffice works fine (and is totally free).
No deal... HUP runs all year round at this price. Cold

The MS licensing admin can run a report on who’s taken advantage of the HUP and then disable accounts, etc. Also use is only valid while the company holds an active Microsoft Enterprise Agreement so technically if you leave or they cease their agreement you should uninstall it.

I got MS Professional 2016 in work yesterday for £9.95. (govt email address, i'm an assassin for MI 41/2)). As luck would have it, my son, who's at Uni, got a text this morning telling him he could get it for FREE.!!,Fecccccck

Anyone with a gov job/email adddress look on the intranet under Microsoft Home Use Program. I'm at home so can't check it exactly.

You need a programme code to proceed. It doesn’t work without it from what I can see.

At least you know your doing it illegally. Most of the eBay sales try and represent the sale as 100% legitimate.

If people want to use keygens or msdn codes that’s their choice but they should at least know they are doing so which isn’t how most eBay code sales look.
So with the eBay link I can download the full PC Office software right? I won't need to use the web apps versions? Seems too good to be true and can't be fully legit but if it works it works.

Also the work email link doesn't work anymore without the company code.

That's theft and frankly, as a Netflix shareholder I find that attitude unacceptable. It's £7 a month. If you can't afford it, then don't have it, but don't rip people off and then brag about it in a public forum like it's clever.

Ebay link is a guy who runs a "business" so can create user accounts with licenses for you to login into. Much like your work will give you an email account which is linked to office suite.

I can afford it ! I use IPTV , I buy codes off eBay for Netflix and other things . Save ££££s a year so that pays for my Caribbean holiday each year . Theft ? I bought it from EBay with proof of purchase . I can prove who I bought it from , so I haven’t stolen nothing , I am covered . The seller might not be . But I recorded the purchase and used PayPal. And the Netflix account is only used by me .

Office365 ProPlus is installed using Click2Run and is licensed differently from Office 2016 installed via MSI using a VLK. O365ProPlus activates against your O365 account, not an internal KMS server like the MSI install. Office will then re-validate the license against your O365 subscription every 2 or 3 days.

Basically, if you have a valid O365 subscription with Office rights enabled, you can install and activate the software on 5 PCs and 5 mobile devices.

My concern with the eBay item is that the owner of the parent O365 tenant will have full access to the e-mail contained within the individual subscriptions. Of course, you don't have to use the e-mail attached to the subscription for anything other than administering the account.

I'm eligible for one considering buying one. So once installed do I need the work creditionals and the software too?
I've got this through my work. Much as I despise Microsoft, this is a great programme.
Without the program I too can’t get any further than the first screen.

apparently the seller is a school worker and he generate these licences under education licence, so FOC. Microsoft confirmed its illicit so at some point all those buyers will get their licences revoked.

True but even in the context the prior poster said an organisation having “spare” licences to sell that still isn’t likely.

I was was also trying to not over complicate the reply

Organisations generally don’t have “spare” licences under 0365 they simply get MS to disable the users office account and as a result reduce the seat count they have for the month and pay less.
