Microsoft Office 2019 Professional (PC) / Home & Business (MAC) £11.99 microsoft hup - qualifying customers

Only really a deal if you must have Microsoft (there are free alternatives available such as Open Office) and if you've not got Office 2016, 2013 or even 2010. Enter your work email address to check if you're eligible.

It's download only so you won't receive any physical media but thats the norm in 2018.

Once you've proved your eligibility you can install on any PC or Laptop, I've installed previous versions on my PC, Laptop and my Partners Laptop so should work on multiple devices (just don't be daft with it). Theoretically you give up the license if you leave your organisation but as long as you keep hold of the key there shouldn't be an issue should you need to reinstall.

The Home Use Program is a Software Assurance benefit available to Microsoft volume licensing customers with active Software Assurance coverage on their Office applications. Employees who use the covered licenses at work are eligible to purchase these Office applications for use on a personal device during the term of their employment.

Eligible employees are allowed to purchase a single license of each product available according to the terms of their organization’s Software Assurance benefit.
Community Updates
This is the first version of Office that is Windows 10 only (A MAC OS version is also available).

Office 2016 is Windows 7 & 10.

You’d need to find out your organisation code from your organisation.

Are you serious?
For those whose company is not eligible or aren't even part of an organisation - head over to eBay where you can find someone dishing out completely legitimate codes for about £8-20.
2016 HUP was £9.95 ... extortionate price rise going to £11.99!!!

You are only supposed to install on one machine at any one time. As you are purchasing a single license

Isn’t this the normal hup price anyway?

Yes, but for anyone eligible but who aren't aware it is essentially a promo link.

Apologies if it shouldn't have been posted but my organisation has been in the HUP for a decade or more and they've never promoted it so there'll be lots out there who don't know about it.

Does it mean my organisation is eligible ?
Possibly if they have the right Microsoft agreement, but you need to ask them. Nobody on here is going to be able to tell you that.

Most people have office 365 which includes a copy of office to install per user (often 2 activations are allowed)
If you've not got any licenses and you're misusing a license be ready for the possibility of Microsoft coming after you. Not a good look if you're wanting to be upstanding and have integrity.
If this product is legit for your existing licensing arrangement then ignore my comment.

Yes it is always at this price.
Which one do you recommend? Pro or home?
I have a .Gov work email, so this has worked fine for me. A great deal for me personally. Thanks for the post. HEAT
Ordered both.
Looks like both work with Windows 10 even the mac one
Which is the better of the 2 for family pc?
I managed to get this done last week, got Office 2019. Only Word, excel and PowerPoint available.

1) Enter work email address
2) You’ll receive an email back to either confirm eligibility or otherwise
3) If eligible, you’ll be invited to make payment
4) Once payment is confirmed, you’ll receive a further email with a code and an install link.
5) Forward this email to your personal email address
6) Open email on personal computer and click on “install” link
7) Enter code if requested - mine validated by itself
That’s it!
Does anyone know a simple way of getting MS Publisher? Ive got this Office 2019 but does not include Publisher
Many thanks
Can you get this if you have already bought 2016 via HUP?

Not quite. O365 allows 15 installs, 5 PC/Mac, 5 Tablet and 5 Phone, however your organization may have a policy that defines if you are permitted to use on of those licensees for personal use on a non work owned PC..

O365 business is paid for on a monthly basis per account, so your copy will cease working once you leave, how soon depends on how its administered in your company. Also again depending how its administered your work sign on may have other limitations, that prevent you exporting data to a non work PC.

Yes it will work but there are other things to be aware of.

Yes, I've participated every time this has come up (even though there never much difference between the products!)

Just because it works (initially) doesn't mean it is legitimate.

I guess it depends. From my own personal experience, I've managed to purchase the HUP and several other licences from eBay and they've never stopped working. But of course that doesn't mean its true for all. Your experience may be different and it's worth mentioning it as a warning to all. Some dodgy people out there for sure.
Anyone know if NHS is part of this scheme? Used to be years ago when they sent out the discs but haven't heard recently.
Is this a genuine website ? Microsoft Hup ?????? Sounds strange to me.

it seems to accept any e-mail address and then asks for the code

mocmocamoc@pheasantpluckers.com

certainly isn't eligible but then asks me for the code, if your company offered it, they'd have let you know by now!
Hot
WIll this be compatible with Windows 7?
Office has got worse since V6. It used to work so logically then. Now it has so many bells and whistles it makes it harder to navigate.
Just put my address in and got the invite email through. Would appear the pro version includes access and publisher but is PC only. The home version is Mac and PC but is without those extras.

Id had the 2016 version installed on my works PC this morning (365 version) and really don't like it.

Is the interface much the same on 2019 as 2016? Aren't we lucky getting it before 2019! Without needing a time machine.

It depends on your individual Trust. Ours used to be involved and I had Office 2012 on disc through the scheme. Sadly they are no longer in the scheme so can’t take advantage. Your IT dept will probably be able to advise you.

Office 2019 Professional Plus includes Publisher - the Home and Business version does not..

They didn't ask you for their organisation code. They asked for ideas - it's certainly plausible for the organisation code to be listed publicly, with verification occurring through the email address. It's not, but that would make sense.

So no need to be funny about a reasonable question.
