Good price on the Office but sling McAfee in the bin. Literally almost as bad as an actual virus in terms of wrecking your computers performance.

3rd party antivirus software is a rip off. Don't get conned into it no matter how tempting the deal. ESPECIALLY with Nortons or McAfee, AVG, Avast... I could go on...

Heat for the office, and for the tip on stacking the Office 365 subscription from SUMMONER
Hot, great price!

Also remember that you can stack these. To get 2 years simply apply 2 subscription keys, one after the other, and you will end up with Office 365 Home with 6 users for 24 months. You can stack up to 5 subscription keys on a single Office 365 account.

Great price for Office 365 with 6 licenses. Just bin the Mcafee
Point worth noting - When you add a voucher you are given the opportunity to turn on auto-renew (by associating a charge method) and then you get 13 months instead of 12. I think you can then turn this off later and then the next time you add a voucher you will get the same offer again.

What exactly happens to the software when the year's subscription expires? Can it still be used?

It will work for another 30 days nagging you to resubscribe then it will stop operating fully. IIRC they disable certain functionality, like saving, printing etc...
Ordered 2 to stack up. Great price. Thanks

I think it becomes read only. You just can't make new or edit.
Personally, I wouldn't advise going for this. Microsoft and other software companies want everyone one to move to renewable versions of all their software. They make lots more money.
Also, I personally wouldn't recommend the 'full' version of any anti-virus system, they slow everything down with their continual checking.and they still can't protect you from everything. Better to use the free versions of the well known ones which aren't so top heavy. And use your common sense.

Great price for Office 365 with 6 licenses. Just bin the Mcafee
Do the codes have an expiry date? I've already got 5 I'm waiting to add.
Goddamit - back to 5yrs subscription
This is as low price as this ever goes and rarely does it hit £40 - the Amazon Christmas deals, but that is about it.
This should go nuclear! Great price.
2 ordered. Cheaper than than my companies HUP deal.
Does it have an expiry date to install office? What is late date to use codes? I have been finding Windows 10 keys come up as used, it do not install immediately.

Also worth noting that this effectively gives you 6tb or cloud storage for £3.33 a month, even before you consider using the other office products and resale of McAfee

I got Office Professional Plus 2019 on HUP for £9.99. Which one are you getting from HUP?

Now that I don't know.
You can redeem up to 5 codes into your account, giving you 5yrs of subscription at any given point, however I don't know if the codes themselves expire if they aren't used.
My gut feeling is that they won't - but it's only gut feeling.

I got Office 2019 on HUP for £21. Which one are you getting from HUP?

Office 365 Home was available on HUp when I last looked. £56 I think. Previously I had paid £11.99 for 2016 but thats just a single user.
Also McAfee gets far better reviews than it used so I will probably use that when Kaspersky renewal comes up. I also got 6% off through a work discount scheme.
Thanks, OP! Great deal. I'm ordering two...and argos are giving a £5 voucher for any purchase over £50 as well, between Wednesday 17 April and Tuesday 23 April.

mcAfee worse anti-virus software that will slow your PC down! - compared 4 myself in last few years on same machine - McAffe is Worse! no wonder why they give it free to BT customers etc..

Great deal, I’m currently paying £7.99 a month for this.
Ms Office yes please but McAfee I DON'T THINK SO

Currently using Office 365 on trial and all the software is already installed. How do I add this to my account so that it changes over from the trial ?

Agree to some extent but I've also found windows defender kills the performance of some apps, it depends on the file access patterns that an app displays. The mcafees of this world have gone for more and more features to stand out when in reality the savvy users only ever wanted it to do one thing and do it really well, it should have been a utility/tool with no frills by now. Sophos gets the balance better, for me.
I can't imagine the frustration of maintaining costly office subscriptions for devices you rarely use. And yet, that's the model they want you to use. Let's hope they can move to pay-per-click someone before we all go bankrupt.
I ordered 2 to stack them. And I just received a £5 code for my next online purchase. Great deal
Good price for a decent package, even more so now Dropbox have basically done over free users with their latest March update - refuse to pay £100 a year for storage I don’t need, Microsoft Onedrive and Office 365 for less than half the price is a no-brainer.
I use this. Mainly for the Cloud Storage. Thanks, will grab one.
What's the difference between this and Personal?
Great deal I think I got the same thing last year with mcafee from Argos too.

Just bin mcafee, windows defender is enough these days along with just not being an idiot online.

I would say £40 as an ongoing cost is about what it should be per year so at this price I’ll happily get another years.

Forget the free ones too, they're as bad as the paid for ones with the added bonus of nagging you to upgrade all the time.

On Windows 8 and 10 stick to the built in Windows Defender. It's free and just as effective as any of the other free offerings out there but without the performance hit and nagging pop ups.

For Windows 7 the equivalent is Microsoft Security Essentials, also free. microsoft.com/en-…201
OMG.. was just about to buy for 59.99 !!! from argos too.
They have both on their website.
Thanks for post!

Is this still a good deal if I only need it for 1 user or are there better deals out there for 1 user?
