Amazing ....more amazing is not yet being told that Libre office and such like open source alternative is better in every conceivable way!

Can this be used with an existing subscription (i.e. renew for a year)?

Yes, codes are stackable up to 5 years.
Should work straight away, but I always add them a day after each other.
Already on 5 years, otherwise would buy more.
The 6TB storage for under £40/yr is the real deal for me, and if you're going to store anything in the cloud then it might as well be Microsoft (if they go down, the whole world will go down)

Actually I'll answer my own question - it's a key so will work with an existing subscription!

I already had a "Personal" subscription that ran until June next year. Entering the code for this upgraded it to Home and extended the sub until July 2021. I don't know what the conversion rate from Personal to Home is when upgrading, but it seems pretty reasonable.
I think there was a comment from someone on this deal the last time it got posted that you can't stack these 6-user licences on top of the 5-user O365 Home licenses they used to sell.
They did the same offer a couple of weeks ago, otherwise I would bite again. Currently paid up until Feb 2023. Good deal, heat added.

Is this a 12 month sub?
Office 365, cheap way to get a decent speed 1TB online backup. I use it to backup my home CCTV system and the Office suite and monthly Sype out minutes are a bonus.

This.
Love or hate Office, where else can you get 1TB of cloud storage (per user) for £40/year?

I actually pay for office 365, but purely for cloud storage. I use Gmail for my emails so using Google's office tools is easier for me
This is the cheapest it gets. Good price.
will this 365 work on an iphone instead of having to pay the monthly subscription?
If i buy more than 1 of these will i get more than 1 years subscription?
McAfee is garbage but still 365 for that price is good

Quick question.
Is the 6TB split among 6 users? 1TB per?
Or all 6TB is shared among them? Meaning one user can use 5.99TB?

How does the 6 users thing work? Do they need to be in the same household?
Would MS know if I have family using it outside UK?

Thanks.

1TB per user, totally separate and totally private from each other. You have the 'owner' who sends invite emails to each other user.

The 'owner' cannot see or access any details of the other members but does have the ability to remove and add different people at their will.
Stupid question but is it a code that is emailed or do you have to wait for delivery / collect in store?
The 6 keys for 365, instead of using them for different devices can I stack them for 5 years on the 1 device hence this product would give me a 5 year subscription to office 365?

You don't get 6 keys, you get one key with 6 uses - if you try and use the same key twice on the same account it doesn't work

Yes I am in the same position. MS want you to upgrade from personal to home, so will offer to convert any remaining time you have on your personal subscription to home. You can do this without applying any new purchase by going into your microsoft account and clicking on upgrade.

If you then want to apply an office personal code to an office home account I think they pro-rata the time, so for 1 year of O365 Personal you get about 9 Months of O365 Home.
Its all very confusing, but if you use lots of cloud storage my opinion is that there is nothing better value than this deal.

I'm hoping for a 10% off ebay code to come along at the same time which will let me buy this from the Argos ebay store for £36!

One user redeems the key and then is able to select up to 5 users to share with. This is done either through Microsoft family or by sending users outside that family a link.

The primary account user then manages access.
I need a deal on genuine win 10 USB, think it's one of those things the official sites don't need to put a markdown on to shift.

Yes there was but pretty sure it was wrong / someone getting confused.
I have had office home for several years - it was the 5 user and I stacked 2 on of these on top.Office 365 is either Home (6 users) or Personal for an individual there are not different grades of Home etc

Ok, fab thanks. Might pick up a couple of these then.
If you are using this to add an extra year using the Safari browser (Mac or iOS device) this may not work, for me it was just adding one year from now rather then extending the expiry date of the existing account. I spent about 2 hours with Microsoft support who basically said wait until the existing subscription expires before adding this new code. In the end it turned out that if I used Chrome to register the code it worked fine
If you have an current subscription, turn ON auto renew to get a free 1 month extra subscription... then once you've got the free month (usually appears instantly), turn OFF auto renew again
Then if you add this 12 month sub you'll get 13 months

Worked for me too, I think the confusion may have been caused by Microsoft's website. When I applied the new code it stated for me that it would be run from for 12 months from me entering the code so looks like a separate licence. When I separately checked my 365 account, I could see it added it to the end of my (previously 5 user) licence.

It's worth switching off auto renew before you stack each year, and switching it back on again afterwards to gain an extra month per year you have codes for.

Yes, you get access to the applications on all of your devices
I presume this just gives you an activation code, right? Is there any expiration date that you have to use it before. I currently get O365 free through uni but that’ll end next year and I’ll need to create my own account. So I can’t just add this code to stack in my existing subscription.

I think they wised up to this (or user error on my part) ....I just added 2 new sub...first one got the free month like usual. Then a few days later I added the second after turning off auto renew but no free month :-(
