Plenty of office compatible programs and security out there for free, no need to pay for this.

Cloud storage is worth paying for. Some Skype minutes for international calls is also useful.

I bought 2 of these on Christmas day for £39.99 each off of the Argos store on eBay. I've bought them before from there at that price so just keep an eye out and it'll probably drop again. You can stack them in the Microsoft account for a maximum of 5 years.

Cloud storage is a marketing hype. MS operating systems all have back doors in them, (since Win XP) giving them a direct link in with cloud storage is the biggest confidence trick out there.

No different than plugging a lead into your computer and letting the World view it. It just means you are giving someone else access to all your data and files. Much better to buy another hard drive and back up.

It's not for you then?

A great deal (at the 40 quid tho) for those who understand it's usefulness though.

Especially true given the price SSDs are now.

It depends on personal needs and convenience I am using Office 365 since many years and use One Drive storage as spare backup of all my data and I can access it from anywhere in the world from any devices. I don’t prefer to carry external hard drive everywhere with me.
