Microsoft Office 365 Home, up to 6 users, 1 year £49.99 Amazon

Amazon Deal of the Day on 19th November.
Microsoft Office 365 Home, 6 users, 1 year.
Includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, OneNote.
Includes 1TB of OneDrive online storage for each of the 6 users.
Normal price is £79.99 (that's also the current price at Currys PC World). I know there are periodically deals on these annual subscriptions at this kind of price level, so this price of £49 is nothing exceptional. But for anybody who is thinking about moving to Office 365, or needing to renew their subscription, this is a pretty good deal.
Microsoft recently increased the maximum number of users on these Home accounts from 5 to 6.
I have always been able to "stack up" my Office 365 Home subscription, which pushes out the subscription validity date by 12 months each time.
This is my first post, so please go easy on me if you don't think this is such a fantastic deal!

Good price for the home version.
thanks, MarkySpark.

My purchase went through OK, and it only took a minute to show the serial # in my Amazon "Games and Software Library".

But adding this to my MS account, I just got a spinning wheel for 5 mins. Closed the tab, checked my account (not extended) so trying again. Maybe the MS servers are getting hammered with this deal ... anyone else have a problem ?
Forgot to cancel free trial so they charged me full price and there is no chance for refund..
Does anybody know if there is an expiry date on the codes or whether it’s possible to stack codes and if so how many? Thanks

Yes, if you are part-way through a sub, adding your new code will extend +12 months as you'd expect.

Previously, I seem to remember someone reportedly stacking 3 (or was it 5?) years all at the same time, but I personally have no experience of this.

You have to remember to switch off auto-renew in your account. Since there are always offers like this one it is best to add the codes when you need them. They will stack but there is a limit.

Thanks. I was being lazy. After a bit of research it seems you can have a max of 5 years stacked.
I've still not been able to apply my new code to my MS account - getting a spinner for 30+ mins now. Anyone else ?
Great been holding out for a deal for me and the kids. As it's only 1 year can I just switch off auto renew and it only means we no longer get updates? Can still use the program after a year?? Cheers

You'll still get updates for as long as your subscription is active, regardless of whether you have auto-renew turned on, but no - you will not be able to use the program after it runs out (or use the Onedrive space).
