This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Found offer in October 2020 issue of PC Pro. Best price I can find around for a GENUINE licence of Office 2019 that’s perpetual. Ideal if you don’t want to pay annual fees for Office 365.
Both prices are decent but the Home and Business license is particularly good in my view - usually retails for £250ish. Currently £240 at Amazon and £250 at Currys.

Never said I paid hundreds, I use libreoffice (which is free). Where's the common sense in paying £10 for something you can get for nothing?

There is a huge difference between fake goods and not conforming to legal terms and conditions of use.

I got it for a £10 on eBay downloaded and it updates fine
Why cold? It’s a good price. Heat added...
Just buy a £10 license instead. Has worked perfectly fine for me for years
I thought 2016 was the final "proper" version of Office you can download?
Doesn't show up in your link, just 365 family and personal. OOS?
The real deal there is probably Win 10 Home / Pro for £30 / £40 if you want a legit copy.

That won't be a legal copy though so you paid someone £10 on ebay to save you the hassle of downloading your own dodgy copy.

Fair enough if you are happy with that but this is a good price for a legitimate version.
bit of a strange statement for a business product
"1-PC OR 1-Mac lifetime licence for one person to use on a single PC"

does it require an activation with a person? and what/whos lifetime?

You activate online usually to a Microsoft account.

When they say lifetime they mean keep and use forever (pay once) but it’s supported for the lifetime of the product, which I think is until 2025.

how does that work for a small business? presume you can use work emails to create the Microsoft account? only seen personal ones used with 365

Rubbish, I too got one for around that, I got Microsoft to check the key and it was indeed an oem key now linked to my Microsoft account. Just because somethings cheap doesn't always mean its fake

I never said it was fake, just not legitimate, there is a subtle but important difference. It may well be a valid OEM key and it may well be linked to your MS account but unless that OEM key was sold to you at the same time you bought the device it is installed on and was sold by the same Microsoft authorised OEM reseller then it is not a legal installation.
Now Microsoft will never in a million years come to your house and audit your computer (as they might a corporation) so as I say if you are happy with an install that does not comply with the legal terms and conditions of the license then go ahead and enjoy it but you likely do not have a legitimate installation of Office. No big deal but you could have got an equally illegal copy for nothing if you spend 5 minutes looking.

I always thought most of the keys on eBay were from some kind of volume licences / technet subscription or perhaps an unscrupulous pc builder buying masses of codes. Whatever the source they are indeed legit keys but their purchase and usage is much less legit. I'm not judging anyone for using them, go ahead, and you're unlikely to have problems as I'm sure Microsoft have bigger fish to fry (plus a tenner lost is hardly the end of the world).

This is a good deal for a retail key. The windows 10 is a great deal too.
Thanks for your comments everyone - interesting views. Disappointed this has gone cold to be honest. This is a good price for what it is. If you’d rather take the risk with eBay that’s up to you, or there are free alternatives if that’s what you want. But if you do want an outright copy of Office 2019 for one device, this is a good deal in my mind.

I don’t vote down good deals on whisky just because there are cheaper alternatives - they aren’t the same!

Downloaded it from the Microsoft website and my code was accepted and get updates no problem.
How do I know it is genuine? I need a few licences for a business, and consider buying those. Buying form PC PRO seems to be a good idea but I still wonder - how can they get such low prices? Somehow it seems doggy... so I may be better of buying £5 ebay copy...

This. Maybe the same method GroupOn use, ie sell via another platform/retailer (which in the case of the group on deal was really dodgy and post was removed).
Really hard to know these days.

Edit: strange how ms are not listed under the trusted partners on the bottom of the page store.pcpro.co.uk/

The only advantage of buying from PC Pro is that you have somewhere to go, to complain in case of any issues, as you bought your licences from a "reputable" reseller...
