This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

This is for anyone happy with a dual core CPU model. There's 8GB RAM and a good amount of storage at 256GB, if's just down to whether you need some extra umph on the CPU and or More onboard storage or not.

If you do want more cores on the CPU and a bump up to 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD, then the Surface laptop 2 is £1,049.99, as I posted HERE

Big price difference between the two, but at least there are some options for you, should you want to take the Suraface Laptop route. I'll keep my eye out for any others.

Thanks @SweetJohnny for shoulting up about this one

Base Specs:
  • SSD - 256G B
  • RAM - 8GB
  • CPU - i7-7660U (Dual Core)
  • Touchscreen - Yes
  • Resolution - 2256 x 1504
  • Operating System - Windows 10

Possibly the most important numbers you'll be looking for with this one.

I know can be difficult. I don't always let that put me off. If I think it's something worth a shout then I generally will do. Although if it does go cold, that's totally fine too.

The first batches were made then, but production didn't stop... maybe it hasn't even today, if there's demand...

If it happens again, report the post so that a mod can take a look, or give me a shout and we'll see about getting that fixed if it's happening often.

Thanks, I have only had a couple, nowt to worry about. The good news it's down to £1.20 at sainsburys. But I will delete the subscription as the deals come through on other subscriptions anyway.

Surface Cleaner?
"possible the most important numbers you will be looking for"....the one that caught my eye was above the red box where it said recommended customer price of $415!
Looks like the code has limited lifespan.
I used it to order a couple of phones from musicmagpie and can't use it anymore (not surprised to be honest).

Use it wisely.
Dual core for £700 is a joke

Hi, that's based on the RCP price and not the laptop

The page I had taken the screenshot from is the Intel site, that displays the specification of any of their chips.
The i7-7660U Is HERE

So putting aside performance, are the surface best in terms of reliability etc right now?

Good to know! i just presumed it was the usual of getting shafted in the UK.
Can this be charged by usb-c?

It has no usbc port.
Definitely paying for form over function but they are nice machines to own and use. 7th gen i7 means it’s ULV dual-core only but I guess if you’re buying a Surface Laptop it’s not for raw performance. No repairability - this is the bit that stings me and puts me right off and MS’s customer service is extremely lacking.
Not bad for a disposable laptop
