Very tempted. But is it any good? And is there going to be a debate on the ram????
How's the battery and screen?
Old surface. Please make that clear in title.

8Gb should be enough for most. This is the 1st gen model, a review can be found here:
notebookcheck.net/Mic…tml

Only drawback (for me) is no USB-C/Thunderbolt (and mainly USB-C for the ease of charging).
Don't think this laptop has beee cheaper

"I had a 4 gb first gen for work,, it was ok a bit slow.... but if something goes wrong with it you're in trouble. Very difficult to get to the motherboard and replace parts youtube.com/watch?v=eShF-PFQfAk&t=8s"
Surface Laptop 3 is out and starts @ £899.....wouldn't touch this deal with a bargepole....it's 1st Gen Surface
Touchscreen laptops are as gimmicky as 3d TVs
Heard very good things about the surface laptop lineup, but the processing power and io upgrade difference between gen 1 and gen 2 is just too big to ignore.
