Firstly, whilst this is a Costco offer (not a member yet!?) it is available online. More importantly however is that this is for the complete bundle that comes with the Type cover & pen.

I've gone and costed up the equivalent elsewhere from a few of the standard places and it still appears as perhaps one of the better prices out there: -

Argos = £598.98
Microsoft Surface 3 10.8 Inch Tablet - 128GB. 410/6209 @ £439.00
Microsoft Surface 3 Type Cover - Black. 408/6130 @ £109.99
Microsoft Surface 3 Pen - Silver. 404/7942 @ £49.99

John Lewis = £653.90
Microsoft Surface 3, Intel Atom, 4GB RAM, Windows 10, 10.8", 128GB, Wi-Fi, Silver (Product code: 82720315) @ £499.00
Microsoft Surface Pro Type Cover, Keyboard Cover for Surface Pro 4, Black (Product code: 89370606) @ £109.95
Microsoft Surface Pen for Surface 3 & Surface Pro 3, Silver (Product code: 70473324) @ £44.95

Amazon = £638.99
amazon.co.uk/dp/…A38
(haven't sought individual prices but perhaps it'll be better than this)

IMHO, while Costco can sometimes be beat on price during sales season, their support cannot. They also match John Lewis's 2-year warranty but throw in additional technical support for free. Yes, new members will need to stump up the membership fee but that should be broken back against all your purchases, not the single one.

Hopefully this should be of use to someone.

Edited to add that it also comes with a year's subscription to Office 365.
If only this was the Surface Pro 3
Add the docking station which is on offer from Argos and you have a good desktop replacement too if you only do light work. Wouldn't be without my Surface 3 128gb now, its not until you have one you realise how much better it is than the ipad or Android devices

Depends on usage of course, but quite a different league when priced at £850 for something comparable to this bundle. I find myself still looking at SP4 prices admittedly!
Why the cold votes? Unless you can provide details/link of a better deal, then please dont vote. Please ensure that you follow the hukd code of conduct when voting.
Keep an eye on Very, as they have recently done some great deals for £422 for the Surface 3, 4gb ram and 128gb and a free typecover. I have had mine for a week and I find myself using it more than my MacBook Air and taking around far more often. Plus free Microsoft Office for 1 year and already loaded with Windows 10. Also, Cortana now works in the UK as well.
What's the best deal for a sp3/4?

I also got the Very deal but I'm having problems activating the office sub. How did you manage it?

I did the critical updates and it seemed to work afterwards. Otherwise give Microsoft a call and they are pretty helpful. Also, remember to download the English language pack under Speech settings and then Cortana will work.

Lol that'll be the day when people follow the code of conduct. So many votes are done for bizarre reasons now.

These cold votes are wrong. I value people's opinion so don't normally comment but the fact remains that there appears to be people cold voting without actually being at all aware that this is the best deal there is at the moment.

I purposely did my homework and then listed them in the deal. So if there are better deals, I haven't seen them posted yet.
I don't understand why this deal is so cold. op has done his homework and listed the competition prices. my only thinking is because it's no longer the latest surface device, but still a good deal and I'll be heading to Costco tomorrow.
Just guessing here, but maybe people think £570 is too much for a tablet?

I bought a fantastic 8" FULL Windows tablet brand new for £130 (with keyboard) when similar Surface tablets were around £400.

Not voted either way.
