How to get 10% cashback

Buy it through Top Cashback and create a new account with Very
Shame it's not the pro model
Anyone got one of these?
How is it for playing games?

Or do you need the Pro?
Tempted in buying this. Bought an ipad pro as a present but this is surely a better option

I'm tempted to say so. For pure productivity Windows will beat iOS any day even with the Office apps you can get on iOS. Plus it's got a USB 3.0 port (and you can use an OTG cable to create another full sized port or use a USB hub) with micro SD slot so no shortage of expansion options
makes me laugh how the black Friday John Lewis deal was more expensive and lacked the type cover but got 691 degrees

I know lol. I've learned to not bother questioning the logic. I bought one from John Lewis, then saw that Currys had 10% TCB, so bought one there and bought this one from Very this morning, so will be returning the other 2

Very isn't a preferred retailer on HUKD, that's why Amazon deals are always considered better
Just ordered one and scrapped the iPad Pro order. This will be much better for my wife who loves the freedom of windows but also uses itunes. Christmas about sorted and in November lol

Bit of a sorry excuse tbh. I've used Very for years and only ever had 1 problem with them. Added to the fact I just got 12 months interest free on this. When Apple do interest free promotions, everyone goes mad for them .... each to their own I guess

I get excited every time I see these pop up, thinking it's the Pro. I'm waiting on an attractive enough deal on a Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro 4 or Macbook Pro to pull the trigger.

Why not? Their various payment methods to spread the cost interest free seem a no brainer!

Speaking purely from my personal experience, the whole experience of buying from them was a nightmare. They use Yodel to fulfill deliveries, so you're alnost guaranteeing problems and then their own customer service is shocking as well.

I had my delivery cancelled twice, because they couldn't find my work address, despite it being on a main road in central London. When I contacted Yodel, they confirmed that the address was fine and weren't sure why the driver wasn't delivering it. It sat in their distribution centre for an extra week. When I contacted Very to cancel the order after a week overdue, they refused to cancel it because it was out for delivery (Both conversations on the rare occasion someone answered the phone).

I did eventually get my order, but I swore off using them ever again.

If I'm not mistaken, they own Yodel too. Yodel are a nightmare to deal with and I only ever use the Twitter CS who are much easier to deal with than the site CS. The only problem I've ever had was when I tried to deal with the site CS. Otherwise, no problems since
Absolutely stunning price for this, especially including the keyboard. Just a week ago the tablet alone was £479 in Currys.

Don't forget this also comes with 1 year Office 365 (you can sell the code on eBay for around £30 if you don't need it). Wonder if this also has the 3 months NOW TV included? If so, the code must be redeemed by 31st Dec. What a bargain!

Quick tip - if you want the pen for this, the new Surface Pro 4 one works with the Surface 3 and can magnetically attach to the side.

I have sitting in front of me a Surface 3 128gb from John Lewis and Currys - only the Currys one has the 3 month Now TV sticker on the box, so may be retailer specific?

This will run indie games only, you will struggle with anything else. Civ 5 runs on the lowest settings, just. Battery takes a massive hit also. On a recent plane trip I hooked up an xbox contoller and was playing hotline miami
unless you are a new customer i would buy from currys for £458.99 this includes the cover, had 2 bad experiences with very, never again would i use this joke of a company.

Very and Yodel are owned by the same people, which only made it more frustrating that the communication and information shared between the two was non-existent. Maybe it was unlucky that my first experience was a bad one, but the online reviews of both companies show that plenty of other people mirrored my views.

I had a similar delivery issue with John Lewis in the same week and the comparison between the two really underlines to me that sometimes it's better to pay a bit extra for a service you can trust.

That being said, if a cracking deal comes up for the Surface Pro on Very this afternoon, I'll probably take the plunge again.

Yodel are very innovative. They've recently started delivering parcels onto customers' roofs when they're out.

That's interesting. The ones direct from the online Microsoft Store have the NOW TV codes as well. Must be just a Currys promo offline.

Correct. The 4Gb/128Gb model is £429.99 (still a decent price, but nowhere near this). With the type cover included, you're basically saving £117 (plus the opportunity for cashback).

I've never bought from Very so can't comment on them as a retailer, but that's pretty much an unbeatable price right now.
Oh wait, its the Intel Atom processor, I will pass.

Hi - on the Very website it says that *Please note that Microsoft pen and keyboard are sold separately*. What is the difference between the cover and the keyboard. Apologies for being a bit dim

This is more than good enough for the average consumer looking for an all round tablet with the kind of productivity/multitasking/connectivity Windows 10 offers over the scaled up mobile OSes like Android and iOS

Be-careful of Very, their customer services is terrible. Have yet to receive a cash-back from an offer a few months back (not related to TCB), despite repeated calls I've yet to get this resolved.

You can choose to buy just the tablet itself for £399 or £419 for the tablet and keyboard as part of a bundle deal. The keyboard is part of the cover, hence the name Type Cover. Hope that helps
