Move it to misc then or it will go very cold x

Wow. They've picked some pretty hipster locations.

Blimey, 20 odd 'experience centres in the UK' and they're all in London!
I'd actually quite like to have a proper look at one, but the London-centric approach prevents me. Perhaps they think us plebs north of watford are waiting for electricity first or something?

DISPLAY | Screen: 10.6" ClearType HD Display • Resolution: 1366 x768

Disappointingly, not receiving a good reception:

Also, I thought they'd price this more competitively. It has a nice size screen and all, but I can't see MS making too many in-roads with the Surface at this price, should be £100 less, to at least get a foot in the door.

I will wait and see for a while, I am pretty happy with Windows 7 and all the softwares work, also for that price is without the keyboard, also why put two rubbish camera on it, and no GPS with average resolution screen, just don't get it..

Hopefully Nexus 10 will be a killer specs and price........

Yeah, all the kids are gonna be wanting Office to show off with, aren't they?

Seriously I can see a place for this tablet, not too impressed by the price, but there's no way it'll see off Android anytime soon.

Can't you afford to not buy both?

The OP's going to change his user name soon. :\

I'm really disappointed at how things have turned out with this. I was really looking forward to this as it promised so much.

This version has Windows RT that is specifically written for ARM processors and as such, won't run legacy software or work with a "proper" network. Then there's the price

I was hoping for full fat Windows 8 so that I could get a load to use in my school as a nice midpoint between tablets and laptops - no such luck

Microsoft are persistent and won't let the tablet market get away. The number of apps available is disappointing but the apps will come eventually unlike with Playbook and Palm.

for productivity purposes pity its not a high res ipad 3 style 4:3 screen portrait mode is useless as it viewing hi res docs (eg A4) .. if it had the ipad 3's screen my ipad 3 would be on flea bay in an instant .. ios is like walking back in time 10 years compared to win 8

When the Win apps become solid like Apples, even the laptops will be replaced by it. Win 8 desktop for gaming, Win 8 Tablet for entertainment/work and Win 8 phone, thats the future

It doesn't even have a media player on it

there's an app for that (I assume)

Most of the reviews I've seen (esp. the tech press) have been very positive. Fantstic build quality, bright display, great performance and battery life etc. Even the Touch Cover works well apparently. And Office built in! Oh and 32GB for same price as a 16GB iPad. Looks awesome. But why are all the experience centres in London?

Am I the only person the UK experience centres aren't showing up on the list for?

Unfortunately the 32gb only gives you 16gb to use as the OS takes up the rest
