How is the condition for the one you received?

Proper digitizer, full fat CPU in a tablet, dual batteries, 3000x2000 3:2 screen (still one of the best in existence), fantastic keyboard, the optimization that results from having Microsoft software on Microsoft hardware.. the list goes on.

US keyboard layout if that matters to anyone.

Is Windows 10 the latest OS? I’m completely out of touch with Microsoft

Was about to order when I saw this, its a no for me based on the keyboard, great price though

three year old tech with US keyboard and likely half-discharged battery? Pass.

If it was UK keyboard then I'd have bitten.

You can work out the percentage with this command under an elevated command prompt: "powercfg /batteryreport" - on the Surface devices it should give the design capacity and currency capacity.

Remember you from the Surface Laptop thread! At this price, seems like a no-brainer for the Book which is much more versatile compared to the Laptop anyway, especially as Skylake 6th gen is basically identical to Kaby Lake 7th gen! I have a Surface Book at work but am getting rid of it, it's a great bit of kit but the clever hinge is also it's downfall as it's thicker than a 2011 ThinkPad when closed and because of the air gap, if you're not careful you can bend the pieces with only mild pressure (tend to be weak around the ports)...

‌ I was aware of this deal for more than a week but legitimately only decided to post it now as a countermeasure to the £800 Surface Laptop 1 "deal" which no poor soul should fall for. This is, spec for spec, almost the same thing for just over half the price.

You can but they’re glued together. Just accept that it’s virtually impossible to do well without making a hash of it.

This company is a mess - you could be lucky or you could end up with something a few weeks away from scrap. Total pot luck.

Having bought yesterday they have since contacted me that they have mistakenly advertised as 256gb and actually they’re 128gb. Worth bearing in mind.
