The YouTube reviewers all say they're pretty good
I own these and really like them. That said, if a similar deal for sony xm3s comes up I would definitely get those instead

They should be to justify RRP, but there is no comparison to QC35s or Sony’s (similar price). ANC is not great, and I’m not surprised they are discounted. I’m not saying this isn’t a good deal btw

Yeah I'm keeping my eyes out, if the Sony's are the same price I'll buy them. If not I'll get these.

They are okay but at this price range and feature set then it sits behind the B&W, Sony and Bose offerings.

These Surface Headphones are much better than the Beats by Apple but always try the three class leaders first.

Although from the reviews I have seen the sound quality is lacking.

According to Amazon and Youtube most headphones are incredible, how bloody convenient! I'd rate the Superlux HD681 as the worst pair of headphones I own, truly excruciating. Yet apparently they are giant killers / equivalent to £100+ headphones

I have 900n h.ear
I just not liking the pressure it puts on head so what do u audiophiles suggest qc35 or xm3

NC is lacking but everyone compares NC with Bose, which is understandable as Bose are Kings there. Sound quality they are much better than QC35 II due to the Bluetooth 5 versus Bose which still use Bluetooth 4. There is no HD music on the Bose.

The B&W PX fall behind according to RTings who are one of the best reviewers. Look at the sound section where the only win is Soundstage where they both do badly

Don't know what they were reviewing but they described the wrong product, PX is BT5... Not BT4.1 as they claim in there review. PX has AptX HD, QC35 II does not and the difference is massive. Getting the BT version wrong is pretty big mistake to make as it is the underpinning tech of the audio data rate.

That RTings review is the first I have seen claiming the QC35 II has better sound quality and I don't trust it simply because they don't know the specification of the headphones.

Until the Bose revises the model like Sony did early 2018 with the 3rd iteration, it won't compete with the PX for clarity, crispness and tonal detail.

No credible reviewer will even say BT4.1 AptX will compete with BT5 with AptX HD, so I am confused why RTings would get it so wrong.

You seem to be mistaken about them being BT5, if you go to page 7 of the instruction manual from their own website bowerswilkins.com/hea…/px it states exactly what RTings stated "Bluetooth audio – Bluetooth 4.1 with aptX-HD" I thought I would check as it would be unusual for RTings to make a mistake and if they did I would have thought they would correct it once someone pointed it out.

As for sound quality here is another review and their key comment "but its sound quality doesn't quite hit the same highs as we've come to expect from B&W. " techradar.com/rev…nes
I looked at these briefly a while back and remembered the reviews I found being a bit disappointing.

Ah... You are right, I got PX mixed up with the PX7 model. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
