Firstly, I have searched but if this is already posted then let me know and I'll get it deleted. I was daft not to get the PRO 2 offered by SCAN last time but they have come up with another deal which might suit some. Unfortunatley, I am after the 256Gb version so will have to miss out on this. At this price it's got to be good but it will not be around for long. Next day delivery is £4.57 extra.

Oxygene, you and me both but the lack of funds gets in the way. PRO 2 seems like a really good compromise.

It'll be around £10 cheaper when it hits the 'Today Only' offer page - the same happened with the 256 GB version ... I'm going to wait until tomorrow. You can get free delivery at Scan by following the instructions on this post.

All that wonga for an iddy biddy 10" screen , mad

agreed, they are too small, thats why the pro 3 is 12". still a nice deal though

If you could get the docking stations for these for a reasonable price I would be sold.

Why don't you buy 128GB surface and 128Gb Mem card?

Still waiting on my iBood 256/8GB to arrive - anyone else had theirs yet?

I have one of these, and love it, haven't been near my desktop since I bought it, only downside is the poor battery. Will need a charge after 2 -3 hours of use.

Good price, but the Scan website puts me off buying from them, stuff all over the place..

What on earth are you doing with it that it needs charged every two hours?

I was getting more than twice that out of my original surface pro, and that has a poorer battery life, in theory.

A £100+ keyboard makes the whole system poor value.

Good idea, and I did consider it but the 128GB version only supports a max of 64GB card I believe. Otherwise it would be ideal for all media storage.
If I'm wrong I'm happy to be told otherwise.

i had the surface pro 3, luckily to get a refund ( was the i7 256g) it over heats, there is a massive thread on the microsoft site about this, i still have the surface pro ( first one i5) that in my opinion was better than the pro 3 in performance,
the pro 3 even froze on amnesia graphics.
apparantley the surface pro 2 is the best of all 3 up to now, in that case this is a bargain.
very dissapointed in pro 3 ,looks amazing, but at the end of the day was over priced and not fit for purpose when i had one
get the pro 2!

I see that it has now gone from Pre-Order to In Stock and back to Pre-Order. I hope that this means that they are expecting more stock to arrive.

Surface pro 2 should be getting six to eight hours of use. Mine did. Though it needed a few updates first.

This is a good compromise and the pen is actually more sensitive than that in the Surface 3.

And it's back in the room if anyone was still looking at this. I guess they just found another box at the back of the truck.

Get a decent laptop for that.

The SDXC spec should support up to 2TB (theoretically) but I have also seen reviews that say "up to 64GB", this may be an official tested spec from Microsoft, but unofficial user reports say that 128gb card do indeed work, they will be substantially slower than the internal SSD, but fine for media and music storage.

Has anyone bought a decent case for this? - looking to pay no more than £25. (I don't have the keyboard so I don't need protection for it)

My 8GB 256Gb SSD machine from ibood turned up today.Very happy with it having traded up from a Surface Pro1.

also - anybody having this issue? Definitely does this on mine...

yes different price and they sold out ..how many posts of the same ssd is there with different types prices ? Yes exactly.

Well find

Price dropped by another couple of quids

I know its now cheaper on other sites but I wanted to say thanks for this. I originally wanted to get the surface pro 3 a while ago as a laptop replacement but in the end I still bought a fairly high spec'd laptop. When I dont need to carry my laptop (its pretty heavy) I decided to get this. I wanted the wacom technology since I am more familiar with that and I wanted the tablet to be able to fit in my bag. Ive not set up the surface pro 2 properly but I'm enjoying it so far.

Just to let people know this is the 1.9Ghz and not 1.6Ghz that it advertises. I hope that helps.
