1.01% from TopCashBack - so you should get about £6.30 (it's calculated on the ex-VAT price).

Just sign up for Quidco (it's free unless you want a premium account) and take the £100 - enough to buy a keyboard!

Good luck with quidco on this one - 4 months since I bought mine and currently put through as claim with MS

so if I was to go on quidco I'd get an extra £100 off???

is quidco worth signing up to? getting the extra £100 off? is that right?

Surface 4 announcement in October

Yes - sign up to Quidco and then go to Currys' website via the link in Quidco. It's worth clearing cookies from your browser or using a different browser to make sure the sale tracks - cashback is never 100% guaranteed.

I pay the £5/year for premium and it's well worth it. When my Lumia 1020 on O2 took ages to track (& finally did for the wrong amount) Quidco paid me the full £150 anyway because I have premium membership. A month later the sale tracked for the correct amount and I got another £150 a few weeks later - depending how you look at it I either got my phone for free or I've got Quidco Premium for the next 30 years for free.

it's £749 now - £674 after currys cash back

Does quidco work with reserve and collect? or do you need to get it delivered?
site does say "Vouchers cannot be used on Reserve and Collect purchases" so assume I cant collect it in store but it also says "For Reserve and Collect purchases, please keep your receipt number and the reservation number as this will be required if a cashback claim is needed"

Ordered mine last night before the Quidco offer ends at midnight tonight - but I'm pretty sure they've already extended this once, so they might do again.

Now I need a Type cover - cheapest I can find is direct from the Microsoft Student Store for £98.99 - are there any better deals?

And can anyone recommend a good screen protector, skin or case for the Surface Pro? (my 4 year old laptop is looking really battered from being dropped, scratched and generally abused - I'd like to keep the Surface looking good for at least a while!).
