This has to be the cheapest we've seen these at on both models. For this price, you have to buy both the surface and the typecover for a total of £599.99 on the m3 model and £699.99 on the i5 Model.

I think the real big deal is the i5 model, to be honest. But either are really good value at the mo. Take your pick.

Hit "Get Deal" > Select the model you want out of the 2 in the offer > Add to basket > On next page scroll down and tick the type cover you want > Review & checkout > Pay

Is that i5 the 8gb/256gb version? If not, is that going to be discounted?
It will probably be the one PC world already has on Black Tag deal today?

Yes, you're right, I'm dim Fingers crossed for something on the 8gig ram one though! Not so fussed about the storage, but I could do with the extra ram!
Hopefully Unidays code works

nope
Prices are already live but it's only for the 2 models mentioned, no deals on the higher spec models unfortunately.
Thanks NeoTrix. I was disappointed to miss out on the Argos deal last week. This is nearly £100 cheaper and I get a choice of keyboard colour. Couldn't resist. Now I need to work out how to explain why I have another tablet/laptop to add to the collection...
If this could be used comfortably on a lap, I'd buy it. Sadly, it can't, so I'll stick with my Thinkpad.
Like others have said, not great on a lap, not the best tablet (too heavy).

Excellent thin portable PC if that's what you're after. I'd recommend the M3 version as it has no fan. The i5 one I have sounds like a jet engine when it gets going.
Is this the best price it's been and is it likely to go down again in the next few weeks? ie after xmas?
Still too expensive for what it is.
Good find, slightly better than my deal. Think I'll buy this one. Any idea how long this will last?
This comes with pen too included! HOTTTT!!!!
Good deal. Heat added. I'm waiting for a higher spec one to come down or ideally the surface book.

These products seem a bit marmite, but I need something that I can use a proper pen with, as it's great for teaching
Yeah, I think Microsoft really needs to make a proper Surface laptop. The Book is a nice piece of kit but ultimately too expensive for what it is. The Pro 4 also a good bit of kit, but actually I've seen a lot of people struggle to use it in laptop mode unless they've got a decent amount of space to use the stand - it's not really ideal for use on small train tables or fold down plane tables tbh.

Still it's a ton better than the iPad Pro, which is basically still an iPad and doesn't really do the job of replacing your laptop unless all you do is browse / use apps.
Im hoping the Surface Books will come down soon or the higher end surface pros, thanks for the heads up!

Too expensive for the fastest 13" laptop ever made??
I've got a i5 8gb ram surface pro 3. Does the i5 surface pro 4 offer much new?

Quite a tempting offer, though the i5 still seems a little steep. Could do with a bit more being knocked off
I got the m3 model with Black type cover thanks for this deal

It has holes in it for the fan so doesn't make a difference really, when I put it on I had the same though though. I have the surface pro 3 version so I am assuming this would be the same
I was thinking of waiting for the Surface-Book or a higher spec version, however thinking about this more... Would the i5 version be fast enough to use regularly daily. Nothing more intense than office programmes and web browsing.
Could be some decent size spreadsheets and I also have a fair amount of Windows open. Was definitely looking at 8gb ram... But not sure if it's just overkill.

Any advice from the techies on here? Not used windows 10 yet and not sure how much of a resource hog it is

Heh, I take your point but as someone who enjoys gaming I'm not willing to spend that kind of money on something that doesn't have a decent Gpu and hard drive space.

That said, if you're not bothered about gaming or storage then it's an excellent but very expensive option.
Not sure why this is voted so hot, its still way overpriced. i5 for £700 lol
I have the i5 version as a work machine, really poor battery life on it so bear in mind if that's a priority.. so much so that my 4 year old MacBook Air would last more than twice as long...

Price decrease after intention of increasing it 20% in UK ? What a bargain lol
My laptop is almost gone... It can go blast anytime. I have a Samsung 15 inch laptop. I am bit worried if this pro suits me or not. I know this would take me a bit to get adjusted on the lap and to be used.

Experts can you help me please ?
