The fact they're ex display maybe not too much of a worry, but only 3 month warranty is not a good gamble to take on a Surface Pro. Also, you can pick up better models for less (i got that exact model I think for less than £650 including pen and touch cover) on Ebay and you'll probably have better cover if anything goes wrong with it as well.

On an ex-display model the biggest concern would be the battery - and I’ve seen many where the battery just doesn’t charge any more, so 3 months may be too short. Especially as these are one of the most unserviceable machines on the planet - iFixit score of 1.

Yep, I agree.

I personally DON'T bother myself in buying anything 'electrical' that's ex-display anything. :-(

On account of potential misuse,and/or abuse from demonstrating Sales Staff ...

From more than average/normal wear and tear (eg. excessive use).

To accidental banging/dropping of the item.

To accident bumps, knocks, scrapes, and what have you's, and ... (possible alllllll sorts basically?).

To weakened/non-responsive/dead altogether battery on account of excessive demonstrative use.

To ...

In a small handful of words - stay clear!.

But that's just me?. :-)
Terrible support on a cheaply made product.

I am currently using one coutesty of work, poor battery life and numerous have failed over the past year or so (at work)

I would look elsewhere if i had to use my own cash !

LOLs for the "Cheaply Made" quip :-)
Screen unusable on mine after 11 months. Horrible support from Microsoft who refuse to acknowledge hardware issues and would only supply a refurb in exchange. Would never but again
Wow...... Thanks for all the honesty! It is available again because I just called and cancelled my order!
Saved me a few problems
