that's a bargain especially from john lewis. if it is going to be used for general computing its brilliant. I only have the surface 3 and may upgrade
good price..
I want but can't justify the outlay.

Wicked bit of kit.
Went in wanting this but after seeing surface book got that instead. These pro devices are limited.
good price

Surface book?

It's like Star Wars mated with a laptop from the Marvel Universe. Gorgeous.
This, or wait for the Samsung TabPro S running Windows 10 to drop in price?
I'd want two of them for this amount.

Alright we get it, you don't think that they are good value.
You don't need to remind everyone of your opinion in every single surface pro deal...
Hot. Is 4GB ram good enough though? Or 8 gb.. Hmm

£700+ for a tablet and bluetooth keyboard (which isn't even that great to type on) and only 4gb.....people must be crazy.

You're looking at over £1,000 for the 8gb version.

Nice enough device but the pricing is completely nuts.
Yes there is a premium over other devices, but at what it does the Surface is king. If your use case doesn't fit then yeah, it's probably not worth it

For note-taking and such it's ace, as an Engineering student it's invaluable being able to take notes on the screen with the pen, being able to plot graphs and then draw on them is fab, and annotating PDF notes and lecture slides all while recording the lecture audio is incredible

Oh nice was that £600 as well? If it was I would definitely get it as although it is essentially the same thing I do prefer the rigid hinge.

Haha I hope not as I paid £1400ish for mine, I say ish as I bought it in the states and haven't had the bill in yet.

Have you used the new keyboard? It's a massive upgrade on the last one.
All that money and STILL has a sticky exclamation mark key.

Yeah, we've got these at work.
m3 processor, good for general use like word possessing, web browsing and media.

Not much else I'm afraid!

Sorry to disappoint with a boring answer, I do a lot of work on Photoshop!
Hoping this can get bellow £500 by next September, need this for my final year of education... But Microsoft has followed his friend Apple, so I'll probably get a cheap one.

A 128GB 9.7" iPad Pro costs £698 (£619.00 + £79.00 for the Apple Pencil) and the 12.9" model costs £878 (£799.00 + £79). The pricing isn't that nuts when compared to Apple's.

Perhaps a better alternative to the Surface Pro 4 if you do a lot of typing is HP's Spectre X360 which costs £749 for the following spec.

Windows 10 Home (x64)6th Generation Intel Core i5 processor8GB RAM and … Windows 10 Home (x64)6th Generation Intel Core i5 processor8GB RAM and lightning-fast 256GB SSD storage33.8 cm (13.3") diagonal Full-HD touchscreen (1920x1080)Up to 12.5 hours battery life

The screen doesn't detach, but it can be folded back to work in tablet mode.

I've got the x360 (the i5 5200u version with 1080p screen) and it is excellent. I sold my original surface pro and asus t100 to go towards it. Love the all day battery life, if I forget charger I can get through a days work with power to spare. Screen is excellent as is the keyboard. Bit too weighty to use in tablet mode for long periods, but useful functionality nonetheless. 8gb would be nice but it mainly runs SQL server, iis
, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and steam (he he) and hasn't struggled yet
We have these at work and the IT guys moan about them. They are prone to overheat and are very easy to damage from low drops. Not sure if you can put them in cases?
Yuck! £600 for Microsoft worms? I'd rather an iPad Pro any day of the week.

Now, please flame me.
I think you might be better off looking out for a Surface Pro 3 with the new generation processors. Best price I've seen though so voted hot.
I got one of these with the keyboard for my wife for Christmas because she hated not being able to do everything properly on her ipad. She loves it and hasn't found anything she doesn't like.
When I click the price is £699
How can I get this for £602?
The code MYJLHM does not work.
