Yes. Not by a massive amount though. Has a type c port too (if that's important to you).
£160 more for the 256gb is a huge amount.... Is the SSD upgradeable be any chance? Trying to figure out how I could use this as 128gb is quite small

Nothing is upgradeable. It's annoying. Is love to be able to change the SSD and memory in mind. They've went down the apple route of soldering everything.

Still, I really like my Surface Pro 6. I paid £850 or so for that about six months ago so this is a bargain.

Cheers... I can see it has a micro sdxc port so a permanent card could be an option for me. I actually have a high end Dell laptop but I hardly use it due to the bulk etc. Mainly use it for documents and simpler things.

I did that at first, but the slow transfer rates drove me crazy. Once I got the Samsung T5, I just took the micro SD card out and used that instead.

A decent external USB drive is a better solution for me.
Yeh I got a few external drives. 2 portable USB 3 Toshiba ones that I used to use for my Plex server until I reverted back to my windows home server.

Thanks. I don't have that in my screen.
Surprised this hasn't gotten hotter.

I would say so. The processor is quad core rather than dual. The cpubenchmark shows double the score for speed between them. 8gb over 4gb RAM. Those are pretty major in my eyes. Not sure what else there is though.
should i get this deal, or a second hand Surface pro i7 8 Gb ram generation 5 (Surface 5) for approx £470....thoughts??? thanks in advance!

Quad core for this vs dual core for the Gen 5. Big difference. Also the battery on a second hand model might be thrashed.
